I'm gonna leave you all with another memory....

"I'm so excited! .... I'm so excited!!! I'm..... so..... SCARED!"

:rotfl2:

I about died laughing!! That was so funny. Poor Jesse needed an intervention. And I do remember the "Hot Sundae" dance. They all had headbands on and the video involved those little mini-trampolines. How clever. :lmao:

And, mantysk8coach, thank you. Now, I will not be able to get that song out of my head for the rest of the night. :teeth: And I'm so impressed you remember the words. :rotfl2:

Awe! Y'all got some cute tags from the 80s posts....I just can't think of anything funnier than the 80s themself to SAY about the 80s ;)

(Regarding IT) Me too! Sometimes when I shower, I have to stare at the drain just in case a spooky clown starts climbing up it. :clown:

That's exactly my problem! It was the scene in the locker room shower that has bothered me ever since! Glad to know I'm not the only one checking the drain now and then!

Am I the only 80's girl here who wore banana clips? That was a really attractive hairstyle. Of course you didn't clip back your giant bangs!!!

You are not the only one! I was cleaning out my garage and going through boxes last weekend when I ran across my old turqoise blue banana clip. I brought in in the house and just for fun decided to see how it would look. What was I thinking? I threw it away rather quickly! :rotfl2:

Looking back at my pictures I looked rather “cool” in my hit banana clip. :lmao:

I actually think that I had more bangs than long hair back then :rotfl2:

I got a tag from this thread too!!! :thumbsup2

Hey, anyone remember those huge wristwatch wall clocks?

we used to ask to have our bangs cut long enough to go around a fat curling iron so we could have the ultimate BUMPER BANG!! now that was stylish!

Congrats on your tag!! I don't think it was from this thread but you got one! The tag fairy is always watching... ;)

:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Being a kid from Oregon, it was the best thing ever that there was an Oregon Trail game. :rotfl2: We all thought it was just the coolest thing ever and played it everyday in computer class. :rotfl:

I loved MASH too. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I always ended up living in the shack when I played MASH. :rotfl:

>32. You thought She-ra (Princess of Power!) and He-Man should hook up.

NO NO NO NO !!! Okay, I am a total dork because I know that this is wrong. She-Ra and He-Man were brother and sister!!!! Separated at birth and all that. :) Princess Adora was She-Ra's alter ego. I still have all my She-Ra dolls and the pretty pink castle/fortress up in the attic at my Dad's house.

Man I just eat this stuff up with a spoon.

And to further prove I am a dork - I actually made my Dad go up into said attic and bring me all my old BabySitters Club books (and the Sweet Valley High ones that were in the same box). I had found this thread about the BSC on a different message board and I had to go revist my girls. To quote another poster on that site, those books are like "candy-colored crack." They're hilarious to read them as an adult.

I LOVED the Baby Sitters Club, and I think I was Ramona! hahaha. We used to watch the Ramona movies in school, and everyone thought I looked just like her. I had the Strawberry Shortcake doll that blew strawberry kisses. Did you know they sell Munchichis in Japan at Epcot? I got a key chain last year!!! I love it.

ETA: Does anyone remember the book The Celery Stalks at Midnight?

I started my own "Babysitter's Club" in middle school. I used to fake sick just so my mom would take me to Blockbuster to rent those cheesy "Babysitter's Club" videos :rotfl:

oh i loved the BSC!!! I think Dawn was my favorite :teeth: Man those books were off the mark though....I remember reading them in middle school and thinking that I would be as mature and cool as those girls when I was 13....yeah right! I also loved the Ramona books, and My Teacher Is An Alien :p

Wow that list brought back some really good memories! I remember pegging my pant legs. Also ladies do you remember the tights that had the lace at the ankle. How embarressing! Shhhhis.. Don't tell but I used to wear those with shorts and sandles!!! Holy cow I can't believe I just admitted that!

I am secertly waiting for the 80's style to come back in style!!

MASH who doesn't remember that game! I use to rig it so that I would end up with the coolest boy in the school and we had all the good stuff and 10 kids!!!
