Ok Who is up for a 6 week challenge?

Oh boy, oh boy... What have I done?! I think I need to sit down and redefine my goals to include specifics. I didn't work out yesterday or today, due to the fact that I procrastinated BIG TIME and did not have time to. My friends came in town yesterday, and I had plans with them and I still have not just hours, but DAYS of homework to do! I am definitely stressed out. That, and I have been out to eat every day since Tuesday. I feel so blown up! I was doing so well with working out up until then, and on Thursday the scale even told me that I had lost a pound! I'm sure it is back to haunt me now, so I have to get to work! I'm going to wake up extra early and go work out before church tomorrow, to compensate a little bit! Congrats to all who are doing so well...As soon as I have a spare moment I am going to sit down and consider my goals, and I am going to begin that darn journal again! I may even put it online! We'll see... How do you motivate yourselves to stay on track? I've been working on it, and did well for 5 days, I just have to get back to it! Keep up the good work, everybody!

I have been doing so well on Atkins. Yesterday I went shopping to a mall 1 1/2 hrs away (that's the one of the closest to where we live). I was able to fit into a pair of size 12 jeans and I haven't been able to do that in 9 yrs!! My mom was with me and she said that I was kinda of loud when I announced it and everyone in the store began to laugh. I couldn't care less that is a huge accomplishment. It really gave me the push I needed to stay on track. Today I was invented to a private grand opening party at a new Kohl's store. They had a free catered dinner and of course there was nothing low carb there. I did not cheat. It was so hard with all the great food and desserts(my weakness). Keep up the good work.

Happy Easter to all!
Ok, this weekend is going much better. Did you know that they make fat free Miracle Whip now? It's awesome. Anyway, I had decided to make a creamy cucumber salad for this dinner I am going to and I'm going to use the FF Miracle Whip.
Also, my DH didn't have a clue what to get me for Easter. He usually gives me a beautiful basket full of all kinds of naughty goodies. I always recieved a big jar of macadamia nuts which I'd proceed to eat in two -three days time. NOT this year. I told him I wanted an exercise DVD. He got me the Walkaerobics one. It's the same lady that does WATP. I hope that it works well. My DH told me he couldn't find the regular WATP. I also got some sugar free gum. That should satisfy my sweet tooth.
I've been drinking lots of water and I will start using my new Walkaerobics DVD tomorrow morning.
It's snowing here in South Dakota today! We will have to have an indoor Easter Egg hunt I think. Hugs to all! :grouphug:

Ok you can count me in. I need all the help I can get. I have been putting this off for way to long. I know I'm a week late but I just found out what the wish site is all about and this sounds like a good plan. My goal is to loose at least 50 lbs the end of the year. I am planning on going into ww tomarrow (oh..look at the time..I mean later today) to see what it is all about. I tryed adkins last year and did great...how/why I stopped...I don't know. So my short term goal for Monday April 12 is to watch what I eat, drink lots of water, walk around the block and go check out ww.:smooth:

I had a nice long post to everyone and then hit the wrong button and it disappeared! I hate when that happens!!

I was saying how proud I am of everyone's progress.

Congrats on staying on plan through catered meals and fitting into smaller jeans!

I exercised on Saturday (FIRM cardio sculpt) and Sunday (FIRM ab sculpt) and for today I did cardio sculpt blaster. It was also weigh in day and I lost 1.5 pounds which brings my total to 49.5 pounds - just 1/2 pound from a 50 pound clippie!

Ashley - One of the things I do that helps me stay on plan is take things one day at at time. That may sound simplistic but it works for me. I don't have to worry about tomorrow - I just have to focus on today. It has helped me be cheat free and keep to my exercise routine for 133 days and counting. I have a long way to go and the only way I won't tire out along the way is to take this journey one day at a time.

Please keep up the great work everyone! You are all so inspirational to me!

HI!
Checking in for Sat & Sun.
Saturday I did ok. I resisted the pizza at my sunday school activity. I got all six cups of water in, but I didn't get any extra in to make up for the day before.
Sunday I over did it a bit, but not too bad. I'm not sure about my water because I was too busy to count. We had dinner with my parents, my sister, and my sister's boyfriend. My sister said I looked really good in my dress and she could really tell I have been losing weight. That made me feel really good.
Overall I think I did ok with my goals this week. I exercised two times this week. I got my water in almost every day. And tomorrow I weigh in and see if it is making a difference. Not too bad considering I was sick & TOM for the first half of the week and the holiday this weekend.

I hope everyone else is feeling positive today even if we may have gone off plan yesterday. At least this is the end of food related holidays for a while! See ya later!:D

All in all I did ok over the weekend. Did lots of cleaning on Saturday which burned up some fat. Sunday Easter dinner got postponed due to FIL being ill so I had the day to myself! Went off plan a bit with some snacking but not too bad. I'm down 2 lbs. which I'm very happy about.

Today I'm back on plan, drinking my water, etc.

Congrats to everyone for staying with it!

Checking in----

Didn't do too badly yesterday. I did eat more than usual but I used flex points for it and I still have 5 left over for today! I'm on track for today, so far. I did my 2 mile WATP tape earlier this morning and so far so good on my WW nutritional components.

Keep up the good work, everyone!! :D

I joined this 6 week challenge a week ago- weighed in this am - lost 3 pounds. I ate like a maniac yesterday (Easter) Hoping to do better next week. Started my journal also.
This board is great- You guys are all so encouraging!

Alright....I'm down two pounds this week! Excellent feeling! Also, had a happy moment running to my new Jellyrolls compilation CD that my friend/travel companion/Jellyrolls-knock-your-socks-off dance buddy sent me! So, two pounds down, positive feelings all around...Things are going well after my few days off. I wonder if it would have been more? Beginning the week right...drank 30 ounces of water by lunchtime! Now...if only I had said "NO" to that pizza...Oh well...how bad can pizza be??? (don't answer! I probably do not want to know!)

I hope everybody is on the right track for meeting their goals! This challenge is wonderful, I like focusing on more than just weight.... I may add the new goal of NOT BITING MY NAILS! My grandma is coming in a month...she likes to scold me for that. And with her...the less scolding the better!

Keep it up!

Hi everyone, I'm a little late checking in. I lost 1 pound this week, and for me that's an accomplishment because I'm a SLOOOOOW loser. Only exercised once, but I did some heavy clutter control in my house this week, and it sure felt like exercise! DD's birthday was this weekend, and we had a trip to Ben & Jerry's where I noticed that my favority flavor is 20 g of carbs (small serving, of course) vs. their low carb ice cream at 13. Whoa! Better not go there often! I'm two pounds away from a new clippie, I've had this one forever. So, new goal, new clippie!

Hi!
Yesterday went well and I got all my water in. I was very tired so I didn't end up exercising. Today I weighed in and I lost 1/2 lb. I also exercised this morning, so today is off to a good start. Have a good day! :D

hi all! Yestrrday was a good day today Ive watched what I eat but I feel terrible! So its really tempting to just sit and do nothing. :(

Still here checking on things even though I havent posted on this thread in a few days. Things are going ok. Blew the diet w/the Easter chocolate - didnt feel good last night cos of it. Getting out to walk when possible. Trying not to let HIM bother me. Taking time for myself when not at work (mostly reading). Getting caught up a little at work.
Cant wait for the wknd - suppose to be sunny & warm :Pinkbounc

Sorry I haven't checked in for a couple of days. I have been busy trying to get my house in order and yesterday we finally had good weather so I spent 3 hours outside playing with my kids. I did ok on Easter dinner however my mother decided to leave lots of deserts here for my kids and since sweets are my weakness I couldn't resist sampling them yesterday. I am back on track today with a strict adherance to Induction and all of water having already been drank. I haven't gained to I can only hope my moment of weakness doesn't hinder my progress. For all of you that resisted this weekends temptations my hat is off to you.

It's Me - just checking in.
I've been practicing with my new Walkaerobics DVD. Yesterday I did two miles (one a.m. and one p.m.) and tonight I did two miles at one time. It wasn't too bad. I didn't feel as awkward tonight anyway. I'm wiped out now though. I would really like to be able to get up before work and do it but I just can't get up fast enough in the morning.
I did really good with my food points today too. I had one moment of weakness, my DD had a reeses peanut butter cup and I couldn't resist. It was in my mouth before I realized it BUT I counted it on my points chart. I just won't be able to eat my low point fudge bar. (Did you know that the Blue Bunny fudge bars are the same # of WW points as the Smart Ones fudge bars that I've been buying (2) what's with that?)
I drank all of my water and I feel pretty good tonight outside of my TOM, I'm hoping that when I weigh in on Thursday, I will have lost the two extra pounds that I gained after "MOVIE POPCORN WEAKEND."If I didn't that's OK, this is one challenge that I am going to achieve.
Sounds like most everyone did fairly well over the holiday, GOOD JOB! And for those that didn't do so well, that's OK, you'll get back on track.
Take Care, Renee
P.S. - Sorry so long, I got a little chatty

HI!
Yesterday went very well. I got my six cups of water plus two more. I did my WATP dvd and I ate pretty well. Everyone seems to be doing well so far. Have a good day!:D

Haven't checked in since last week, but I don't have much good news to report since then, anyway! Diet, exercise, and water in-take were completely blown out of the water last weekend. I don't really want to talk about that, though, because as of yesterday I'm getting back on track which is what's important. I did about a 3-mile walk/run yesterday. I'm drinking water this morning, and had a granola/yogurt bar for breakfast. I haven't weighed in since I started this challenge, but I FEEL better which measures up well in my book. I can tell the difference on days when I do exercise and eat right and days when I don't.

Hope all of you do well today with your goals!

I'm checking in today!

The past few days have been rough on my mentally, which is one of the areas I am working on during this challenge. It's such a struggle for me to get in the right frame of mind since I didn't lose as much as I wanted to this past week.

I am trying to focus on all the good I have done and how 49.5 pounds is a big accomplishment. I know this 1/2 pound will come off this week but PMS has a strong hold on me right now. I'm fighting the negative feelings though. I took today as my rest day from exercise and I know the day of the week I don't work out, I always feel like a little black rain cloud is over my head. I know it will be easier to deal with these negative feelings tomorrow when I work out again.

I am eating on plan, drinking my water and trying to think positive thoughts.

I hope everyone is having a good day and staying on plan. Take care!

wow! Look at everyone go!!
Great job everyone!!!

Im doing MUCH better today feel almost 100% even.

Have to get my water in but so far so good!
