Well.I'm pretty new to the boards but I read everything carefully and think I've done okay. Here's my story: In February I booked 7 days in July at the WL,Courtyard View,room only. We travel to WDW every summer and so have in our possession 6 day hoppers from last year which still had 3 days and one extra left on them. My DS's are 19 and 16 so we can do the parks in 3 days and spend a day at BB and also relax a bit and enjoy the WL. Thanks to all of you "vets" I learned about codes so I watched carefully and when the 7/5 came out,I made the call. Got a great CM whose name was Howard and here is what we did. I used my Disney Visa card to get the Dream Maker package(regular)7/5and the whole thing came to about $680 more than the room only booking. I think it was a great deal because I also forgot to mention that my DS's are DQ and mini-golf fanatics and these are both included in the package. We get to save our 6dayPH+ tickets for next year. All things considered,I feel like we got the deal of the century! We have never been a fan of package deals because alot of the freebies are things we can really live without(lanyards ) and also because I felt that the UPH was not really a good investment because you cannot save unused days. However,with the 7/5 deal...........it's really a bargain and of course , my DS's (and my DH too)love the UPH,poor investment or not! Can you tell that I'm the financial supervisor of thr family! Anyway,thanks to all of you for these great boards with all the great info. How do you think I did? One last note,Howard asked about dining arrangements and I explained how I had already made all my PS's at 60 days out and he chuckled and said that I must be a board reader to be so organized!
