My friend was thinking about doing this. She went to college for two years (she graduated in 2005). and took this year off. She's planning on signing up for classes in the Fall....and applying for Spring 09 CP.
Here's my question... how many classes will she have to take (I know you can be a part-time student.) She works full time (60 hour weeks)..so she can't be a full time student. If she's taking like one or two classes..is that considered to be "enrolled"? Also...I know a student has to have taken a semester of college. She has...but then she took a break. Does she have to take a semester of college again before she applies? Or will they note that she's been in college already? (Meaning...she enrolls for one or two classes in the Fall. Applies in the Fall for spring 09. Is that ok?)

As far as the one semester requirement goes, all that is required is one term of work in a college-level setting. Taking time off is no problem.

As far as the amount of classes required, I've always heard it characterized as one or more, at least on Disney's part of the deal. However, individual schools sometimes have their own special rules for participating, so you/your friend will want to check with the school in question to make sure.

Thanks! I'm trying to get my friend to consider going with me..but she was worried about it.
