Oh Toodles!!!

you can bring any type of snacks you want on the plane....just no liquids from home....but you can buy bottled water, milk, juice etc at any of the restaurants, etc once your past security and bring on the plane...most planes don't give you food anymore or you have to buy it...so to save some $$ bring what you can from home!

We received our Disney maps in the mail today... My dh and I are going to look at them this weekend and mark them.. We also found a few videos about WDW on netflix for January to watch. Next week, we are going to family movie night and watch tangled. Is it any good? Oh yea, I saw many people buying Lanyard for their trip. What is the number one reason you use them at WDW

:cool1: Tangle is a great movie. I think it goes on sale tomorrow so I might have to hit the stores to get it.

We use our lanyards to put the pins that the kids want to trade. DD7 loves pin trading but we only do it with the CMs.

I saw that you mentioned getting water at the counter service places. This is usually just tap water which is very clorinated and not too good:sick: I would stick with bringing in bottled water.

As for the airport we I was able to bring a baby bottle on the plane. I had milk in it for DS and they will test them by waving a stick over the opened bottle and then they swabbed my hand to make sure I had no explosives.

Lanyards are great for pin trading. You and hubby might want to do that but your girls are too young. I agree with buying some pins off of ebay before you go. The CM will trade with you and it won't cost you a lot of money. I do that with my girls. I buy enough ebay pins so that they can have one or two to trade every day.

I also think you should have your DH buy a case of waters when you send him to Walmart on your first night down there. You can bring your own water and snacks into Disney. The tap water in Florida isn't very tasty.

When we were in Florida in December, we had the BEST strawberries ever!!!! We drove through Plant City (about 20 miles from Orlando) and got strawberries right out of the field. Then we bought the most delicious strawberry milkshakes there too. I am drooling just thinking about it!!!!
I'm drooling thinking about it. I want some good oranges..

Great we will have to get snacks before we go. That will help us and I love to save money.

I think the girls are too young to trade pins, but it would be nice to get the GKTW button and MAW button she haves on it. I'll stay away from the water..

Case of water is on our list. We drink a lot of water in our house. You are the second person that told me and We will be staying away from the water.

:offtopic: about disney. Kaitlyn had her 9month old check up today..They want to send her to allergist/immunologist dr. Haves anybody took their kid to one? They want to allergy testing on her. Haves anybody kids had allergy testing? if yes, what do they do?Right now, we can't give her strawberries and she can't wear bandaid. Her dr. changed her formula again today. They think she has a milk allergy too. She had a VERY VERY bad reaction to bandaids. They think it could been the adhesive. Any info will help!!

Yes, my older DD has had issues with allergies her whole life. She was allergic to both milk and soy formula when she was an infant. We had to buy special (and very expensive) formula. Last year her allergies were really bad for spring plants and stuff so we took her in for testing. It wasn't too bad since she was old enough to understand what was going on. They found out she was severely allergic to several things. We have been doing allergy shots for the last year. Her spring allergies should be much better this year. Oh, and she did outgrow her milk allergy around 2 1/2 years old. She is still mildly allergic to soy though.

can't help on the allergie question....but hope they can find out what they are so you can get her feeling better!

Thanks for the info. They said, she now 9months old and they can do the test now. We are now just waiting for the date. I just want to know. I'm scaried to give her anything new because mild reaction after the strawberry baby food. But the bandaid scaried us. We don't know 100% it's strawberries or bandaid. I want to know and can say 100% it's that. All formula is expensive. We like to buy at sams club. Only few months til' she is off of formula. :worship:.. My dh spring allergies problem started this week and it's bad. It started early this year. He going to the dr. next month to get some meds because he worried about FL in May. Don't want it to be problem on the trip. I hope she outgrows the milk allergy.

My DD had an allergic reaction to her first birthday cake this past Nov. She ended up in the ER after her lips started to swell up. Turns out she is allergic to eggs (egg white butter cream frosting ugh) I too really NEEDED to know what she was allergic to and had her tested. It took forever to get her an appointment tho. They can do the scratch testing on babies. It's not fun because you will have to keep your DD from rubbing or scratching for 10 minutes while the tests work. Bring lots of things for her to hold and to distract her. They tested my DD on her arm but when DS was 5 they tested on his back. I guess it depends on the DR. Good Luck! Oh and my daughter reacts to bandaids too but is not allergic to latex. Just sensitive skin. Hopefully that isthe same with yours

It was mickey mail and our first big give... January wouldn't let go of it. I told her lets go inside and I'll let you open it. Well she wouldn't not go inside(she never gets to play outside much)
