I say, "Thank you too much!" I feel so blessed that you would take time out of your own busy days to make my dd's trip special. This trip means so much to us. We never really took a family trip because my dh used this vacation time/sick days to be with our dd in the hospital. This is the first time in about 4yrs that we didn't spend this vacation in hospital. Last year, January didn't have any surgery, but he took his vacation when Kaitlyn was born. We only took January to the zoo once and we go to my dh family camp each year, but not anything like WDW. This is much need trip to get always from dr. appts. We need family time that not in a hospital or three hr. trip to the dr. My dh said everytime my dd had a dr. appt that it was our mini vacation because of the drive. All the Big Gives makes the trip so much more special for the girls. I say it too much thank you and I wish I had half the talent you have.
Here what came in the mail today.

First package the girls open from Jennifer(disname:RootbeerMomma) I really like that disname. We love rootbeer in this family too.. January wouldn't let me have the letter and she put on Kaitlyn's hat on first... too cute..

Second package had to my dh and myself, but we let January open it. I love the shirts and can't wait to wear them at AK. I saw the shirts and knew what shorts that my dh will wear with them. He haves shorts that matches Mickey mouse's hat. The great shirts are from disname:MIPRENDER.

January has got up the last two morning and said, "Our we going to disney today!" We think she dreaming of disney. We got her some news shoes for disney. She said yesterday, Can I put my news shoes on and go to disney today. We were thinking about not telling her that we are going to disney that day, but she will know when she puts her news shoes on. We are going to video tape her on that day and give her news shoes for her to put on. We want to see what she will say. She three years old and she is telling everybody about her trip to disney. All the great gives is making her dream about disney.

January update: She had her echo today and she has two leaky valves(she did only have one), but the dr. isn't worried about it. and GUESS WHAT!!! our next dr. appt is April 5, 2012!!!!! We are now at once year appts. Isn't that crazy...She still on all of her meds. Question about meds. What would be the best way to carry on all of our family meds? I'll be packing(Carry-on) both girls reg. meds, my dh and my meds, pain relief meds, Kaitlyn has four different diaper creams, breathing machine, etc. They will let me carry them on board right? January meds need to be refrigerated. How would I do?

GREAT news about the doctor appointments! As for the meds...I'm not sure what the regulations are now. But the last time I flew I carried my shots in an insulated bag with one of those plastic freezer things. (why can't I remember the name of them?) You know the things you freeze and put in your lunch box to keep things cold.

In fact, when we go to Disney, we drive for about 6 or 7 hours, and that is still the way I carry my meds... Depends on how long of a flight you have. You can check with your pharmacist and they can tellyou the best way to transport her meds...and I am sure someone will chime in here with the exact answer...


I just wanted to congratulate you on the once a year doctor appointments. I know how great that feeling is.

My children are all four years apart ...and they are ALL the BEST of friends... from oldest to the youngest...You will not have to worry about them being best friends...of course, I DO believe mine are very close because of all of the medical problems, they really do know what is important in life and and value that! I have seen that repeated over and over among the Wish families, no matter the age difference... Wow, that is a long time to not have to go back to the cardiologist! AMAZING!

Like Nini posted you should be able to bring one of the ice packs to keep your medicine cold. DS3 had an ear infection the day before we flew out and they gave him the antibiotics that needed to be kept cold and the TSA out of Providence never gave us a hassle.
