Oh Sweet Mother of Bread Pudding...What have I got myself into? 9/26 Update!

I have been enjoying your reviews, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Take your time grieving. We will be here when you are ready. I may go check out your trip report in the meantime.

Just happened on your reviews today...looking for ideas for our Nov. trip. I love your writing style and the pictures are great. I have been thinking about trying the Garden Grove (we will be at the BWV's) and your description was very helpful. Thank you!

I loved your dining reviews, and your section on Raglan Road made me drop what I was doing and make ADRs for my May trip. Dinner there was really great--I ordered the Serious Sirloin, and the amaaaazing bread pudding! Our server was terrific and we even got to enjoy the live music and the Irish dancer. So thanks again for the review--our evening at DTD was so much fun! And I'll dream of that bread pudding until I can return in September...:)

I was right there, enjoying the reviews, until they took a nasty turn and you confused Paula Deen with Dr. Laura. I would add more, but I'd just get a warning from a moderator.

Careful, Your horns are showing! :maleficen

Food is about LIFE! Cooking is about LIFE! I believe you can not have the perfect dining experience without immersing yourself in it.

My prayers will be for you to find the peace and the joy that Walt Disney envisioned when he put his DREAM into motion. The story that disney tells either through dining experiences or parks is not limited to the small views of the dim sighted. The story of Disney is never ending and uninterrupted. What I am getting at here is that food is a story and knowing the background of the writer and the cook can give you a much more enjoyable experience if you allow it!

My suggestion is that you read the other reviews on the boards instead. You know the ones that say "I went to the Wave and had the steak, it was good!".

Maybe those type of reviews will fit your needs a bit better.

Thank you!

;) Thank you! I am not sure. I do not feel I write well enough. I was passionate about this last post though. However, I will consider it. Thanks again and keep on reading/ posting. I enjoy reading all of the posts of the ladies (and men?)on this thread. :surfweb:

First let me say that you are amazing. Reading your reviews I have laughed and then reading about your friend - I have been so sad for you. You have a great gift for writing with such a witty and sharp sense of humor. Thanks for sharing with those of us that read reviews not so much for the expertise of those sharing their opinion but for the moments in life that make us smile and re-live a shared passion for all things Disney.

I look forward to reading more. :goodvibes

Very well said :) I fully enjoy and appreciate all of Dawn's reviews, ty very much :)

Hear hear, Dizneydawn! Very well written. Looking forward to more installments about your trip and the nummy, nummy food. :lovestruc

Thanks for sharing with us. Everyone has their own tastes and some placees are hit or miss for everyone. Not everyone likes the same stuff. I really like the commenting that is going along with everything. It just gives a bit more insight.:thumbsup2

Huh? Whaaaaaaaaa???? Color me clueless! I went back and re-read and must've missed something. Because all of the OP's postings looks innocent enough to me. Now let's all join hands and sing kum-ba-ya. :grouphug:

Hi all,
Again, life has been a bit crazier than I would have liked! Last week with m y hope to write here, came an emergency with my oldest, Treyner. He is needing surgery for a blockage somewhere between his bladder and urethra tube (I am sure he is loving me sharing this...;)) and we ended up in the ER last week, followed by DR appt's and surgery scheduled for later in the week.

He will be fine but just a matter of running around, collecting info the surgeon will need because he had a surgery which complicates this, when he was seven by a pediatric urologist and so a bit stressful around here.

Because he missed a few days of work last week, Dan and I helped him get caught up at work this weekend by cleaning out a house that the homeowners lost and left trashed, so there went two days of writing time!

I should be back today this evening and want to bang out new reviews daily so I can be done before we leave for the wedding!!! :worship:

YIKES!! Tell Treyner I hope he's okay and that I'll be thinking/praying for him. I know that sort of stuff can be no fun.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for Treyner!! I know you'll get back to this when you can.

I have something funny to share:

Last week, DH had a phone interview for a job in upstate NY. DD got terribly excited. "I hope Daddy gets that job," she exclaimed. "We'll be closer to Disney!"

When I explained that the job was in a part of the States that is actually FARTHER from Disney than we currently are she was highly offended!! "Canada is NORTH of the United States you know, Mummy!"

When I showed her the map she was incensed and told Daddy he couldn't take that job. "Try to find one in Florida," she told him.

:lmao::rotfl2::worship:

He's got an interview tomorrow in Waterloo, Ontario which I have my fingers (and every other body part possible) crossed he'll actually get the job for. Any prayers and good thoughts our way would be greatly appreciated!

Hijack over...thanks!! :rotfl:

Hope all goes well for Treyner! My boss is in the hospital for surgery today, so I'm saying lots of prayers. I'll add Treyner to the list!

Wedding? Your wedding or someone else's? I didn't think yours was for a while yet!
