I was talking about this thread at work today, and 1 of the 4 people said: "Maybe the baby died, and that Katie is SOOO tramatized, Tom has her "believeing" the baby is still alive!! 
CAN YOU IMAGINE???

Having had a baby myself, I do think Katie was actually pregnant. However, I do not think the baby is Tom's. I just never thought she really was.
I do think she had the baby earlier than what she said (definitely before the funeral she attended in Australia...no dr. would sign off on her going that late in pregnancy....especially if he/she was assigned to "protect" Tom Cruise's baby until delivery. That would be one EXPENSIVE lawsuit if something happened to that baby.
However, I am afraid there may be something wrong with that baby (down's or otherwise), and as bad as this sounds, they may be trying to "replace" the baby with a healthy one of the appx. age to pass off as their own. I think this theory may be even MORE likely since Cruise knows the baby is not really his. To admit to having a down's baby would be tough for someone like Cruise, who is obsessed with perfection....but, would be near IMPOSSIBLE for him to do if the baby is not, after all...his. He may have found himself in between a rock and a hard place...."have" a baby to dispell any gay rumors, but then have to admit that Scientology did not produce the perfect child it says it can....what's a man to do?
FWIW, I have seen pics of Nicole, and I do really believe she is pregnant. I am so happy for her. Interestingly, she was quoted in a magazine right before her wedding to Keith stating that she is still in love with Cruise. I thought that was really odd, until I read an article where someone said, "She had to say that to butter Tom's ego. He was threatening to not allow the kids to come to her wedding." He must be a really SCARY person. He says that he is known in Hollywood for "giving advice", and that he is constantly sought out by other celebrities for his "knowledge and advice". Seriously...who? And, why does Oprah edify him so much? And, Rosie O'Donnell? If you ask me, he blackmail's other Hollywood celebs as much as Scientology is blackmailing him....just his little way of making sure that others speak only well of him, and don't let out his "little secret". He is one SCARY man!!!
