For the first time ever I have been unable to book a Mixology class and I am so disappointed. I understand on the Treasure, there's a bar I can go to as soon as I board where I can book the Mixology class as they do keep some extra spots available. Can someone please tell me if they've had to do this and where they went to go to book their spot. Thanks in advance everybody.

I have never heard of a bar you go to book mixology upon boarding. Just that the app tends to have more spots open as soon as you can connect to the ship's wifi (so arriving early to the port can help!) Good luck!

I remember once on the Fantasy,, there were two people in our group who were unable to get a spot in our Mixology class. They learned on DIS to go down to a certain bar and sure enough they got them. This was a few years back and I was hoping they still did this. Thanks for letting me know about connecting to the Wi-Fi when I board and give it a try then.

You just check for availability when you connect to DCL WiFi at the port. I have seen others say to go to guest services, but they see the same availability you do in the app.

If you can’t get a spot on boarding day, you can also ask at Guest Services later in the cruise in case there are cancellations. I cancelled a chocolate and liquor tasting on my last cruise, so I know cancellations happen.

Yeah, I got mostly shut out on the Treasure in May too. I did have a beer tasting but cancelled it. Everything else was gone when my window for Gold opened.

Don't Know if they do it still, but they use to have a bar you go too I did a few times. I was able to book on app when I did Wish in 2003

Agree with what others have said. As soon as you get to port and login. I’ve seeen them add multiple mixology classes that were not available prior at the port. And we’ve seen people show up and be admitted to some….not all mixology classes

Thank you! For sure I will connect to the Wi-Fi as soon as I reach the port.

Exactly. I was hoping somebody knew which bar you should go to where you can sign up for the different offerings. I keep checking the app and hopefully something will turn up. Thank you for your suggestion.

I recently canceled a stem to stern wine tasting but let my Facebook group for the cruise no I was going to do it but unfortunately they were not able to grab it. I keep checking for Mixology but no luck so far. Hopefully once at the Port the Wi-Fi or guest services will be able to help. Thanks for answering.

It sounds like my number one on my to do list once I get to the port will be to get into their Wi-Fi and check for them then. Hopefully I will grab the Mixology because it's my favorite thing to do. Thanks for answering!

For sure it seemed almost every tasting was shut out but I did grab the stem to stern wine tasting because I wanted something but since I don't like wine I ended up canceling. I've never seen almost every tasting sold out before and I got online for gold at exactly midnight and everything was gone. Disappointing for sure.

Mixology is becoming increasingly harder to get. DCL would be wise to add a lot more. My suggestion would be that they should add them nightly at 11:30pm. There's nothing else going on. It gives people who don't like retiring to their staterooms that early something to do, generates revenue for DCL, and creates additional capacity for a very popular activity for which many guests are usually shut out of enjoying. Win-win all around.
