Sorry for being so naive. So, a tier one ride at ANY park can only be booked once a day per person?

Don't apologize! Epcot, AK and HS all have a tier system. When booking fast passes at those parks you can book 1 tier one attraction and 2 tier two.

Quick note.
You can book one, at a time. Once you use your other passes, you can go back and book another tier one.

I've had three trips through the fast pass line of Toy Story, in one day.

Ok so for some weird reason touring plans just let me create personalized touring plans and I'm still on basic access. Kind obsessed now..but why is it letting me do that with just basic access?

I was intrigued by this, so I went to TP and clicked on Universal, since I don't have a premium subscription there. Read down the page, and saw this: "We offer Personalized Touring Plans as a free service to basic subscribers". So I guess the premium subscription gets you their crowd calendar (which is pretty great), their Lines app, and recommended touring plans? Maybe someone else can verify.

Glad it works for you! That's awesome! It messed me up too because it didn't have the Star Wars Dessert Party included. I just added a break for that specific time and place, and rather than choose Optimize, I will choose Evaluate.

Oh you know I did! I did one for every one of my 7 days and took a screenshot (was on my iPad).

I couldn't access the full 365 day crowd calendar so maybe it is part of basic?

FoP is totally unavailable for FP for our whole week. But it says "standby" might be available...does that mean standing in line forever? And if so, why "might be" available?

I'm thinking they said 'might' because they can't promise you that the ride won't be down at some point during your trip. It's probably just to cover themselves.

And yeah, standby refers to the regular line. On the plus side, I've heard the queue is amazing so hopefully if you're forced to wait standby you can see some neat things! You can also keep checking back to see if any FPs open up. Some people may cancel or modify their plans and some could come available.

Probably that they close off standby if the lines get too long.

I hear a lot of locals with vlogs talk about watching the radar/checking weather apps. Would be helpful to keep updated especially in case of storms/hurricanes.

I like weatherbug's app a lot. Great weather radar built into it.

Yes, I believe basic lets you create plans. I signed up for the premium for the crowd calendars and all of that. I really wanted to know that. For $11.95 I thought it was worth it.

79 days and counting !!!!

Has anyone done the in room celebration? I want to do it for my kids first trip to Disney but at 550 bucks it has me rethinking it.

I am doing something myself. I plan on setting something out each night of our stay, so when my kids wake up they will have a surprise...not that the trip isn't enough or anything! ha! But this will probably be the last time we go for several years..so enjoying this age (8 & 6) while I can!! Some examples of things I am planning are new Disney pjs, new shirt, princess dress, costume for MNSSHP, plush. All things that I have collected over the past few months. Much cheaper!

FP+ day! And I OVERSLEPT! Darn summer vacation brain allowed me to sleep past 6 for the first time in ages. Oh well.

I was still able to get everything when I wanted it except FOP and it sounds like that would have probably been the case either way. No FOP for our first day but I got it for our third day. It is in the evening so that will mean a return trip that day. I am now counting on Express Transportation to allow us to run back to AK for just that ride. We are kid free this trip, so I think it will be worth it!

I'm with you on my TP plans. I've got them pretty much the way I want. My FP+ day is 20 days. I'll adjust my plans once I have those. Positive thinking in action here - I'm going to get exactly the FPs I want and won't have to adjust my plans (that I've been working on for weeks) at all. So it is written, so it shall be.

Woke up about 40 minutes past the FP+ window opening yesterday and was able to get everything I wanted. Got Flight of Passage at 6:40 on Tuesday the 5th. Way later than I was hoping, but I'll take it over nothing. Was surprised how many Frozen & Seven Dwarfs were available. Last year I couldn't get them at all, even at my window opening.

I made our FP today. I got everything I wanted, but I didn't get the times I wanted for FOP and SDMT. I can live with that, especially since I got a BOG yesterday for my dd's birthday on our trip! Woot woot!
