Got our FPs!! Now on to creating touring plans and obsessing about them for the next 57 days

I just did my early check-in & FP+. 60 days!

Is there any advantage to doing online check in this far out? I was planning on doing it, like, a couple of days before we leave. But I've seen a couple of people who are 2-3 months out do early check in. Just wondering.

So, here's what Touring Plans predicts for my days;

Sun. 24th: WDW crowds overall - 3 (out of 10) HS - 4 (Star Wars party that night)(arrival day, won't get to the park until probably 2 o'clockish)
Mon. 25th: WDW crowds - 4 AK (EMH) - 3 MK (afternoon/evening for HEA) - 5
Tue. 26th: WDW crowds - 3 AK - 2
Wed. 27th: WDW crowds - 3 HS - 3 (Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon, Fantasmic! dinner)
Thu. 28th: WDW crowds - 3 EP - 3 (morning only, then hit the road for home)

It's not 1s and 2s but it's 9s and 10s either. I'll take it!

I thought fp was 7am est and dining was 6am est?

Just want to make sure. My fp date is coming up. 6am would be better so the kids would still be sleeping lol.

yes, the FP is at 6am CT, however I overslept and got what I wanted even at 7am CT, (an hour later after it opened) hope that makes sense. LOL

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and join touring plans and upgrade from basic. One more thing to obsess over while planning.

i can't believe our sept crew is starting to make fast passes. It's getting real now!

We are going 9/20-9/28 (CBR) to celebrate DSis' 40th , and Dsis and Dbil's anniversary . Adults only trip, woo-hoo!

We are looking forward to seeing all the other Disers

I feel like a crazy person. My family thinks I've lost my mind. All I think about is this trip, I spend way too much time on my computer now! Housework is suffering, LOL! Not working today, going to MAKE myself get some stuff done.

So I should have my fps before plugging in my things? Or does it help to give me an idea of when I should aim to l book the fp?

I also just found out about the room request feature on tp.

Nope, I kind of like that I have my plans in place now, with all the features I want to see. It definitely helps me see when I should try to get FPs. I also have my ADR's plugged in. Once I get FP, I'll be able to tweak each one. Most likely over and over....and over....and over.... LOL! I just found out about the room request feature as well. Not sure yet if I'll use it, but it's definitely a nice feature!

I made a preliminary plan to get an idea of what FPs I wanted to shoot for at what time. I didn't get all of the exact ones I wanted at the times I wanted so now I'm going to go through and tweaking all the plans with my actual FPs!

I love TP and while they do use data-backed statistics, just remember that it can never be 100% accurate so make sure not to have every single minute scheduled. Leave time for upsets/longer than expected waits/photo ops/etc. But it's great to build a framework and a plan!
