**OFFICIAL THREAD**Survivor: Panama

Danielle was not thinking right. Hello no matter which way you go you are going to end up Number 3. She voted with Cheri and Aras who are one and two. Danielle is 3. And she was worried about being number 3 if she voted with Courtney and Terry. Somebody doesn't seem to be thinking this thru.

Plus didn't someone tell her that Shane was trying to get everyone to vote for her. So she has to know she is probably next to go.

But, with this threesome she has a better chance of staying in the game. She woudl never beat Terry.
If Aras, Cerie and Danilelle stay together and as long as Shane doesn't get immunity. Seems they will vote Shane out.

Ok, don't flame me for this....

When Shane was playing with his "blackberry" last night he said something about sending a message off to his "partner". I am just wondering if he meant business partner, life partner (be it man or woman) or other.

What do you all think :confused3

It just kinda caught my attention

I just thought it was a business partner seeing as Shane is a Marketing Exec.

I'm a little bummed right now though - I just went over to cbs.com to look at the Survivor page and saw who lost on Amazing Race this week. I haven't watched it yet and have been avoiding that thread.

Shane as a maketing exec. Scary :scared1:

Yes, sad about teh AR losers. Hoping for the Hippies to win! :hippie: Those frat boys are ruling the race though.

Terry could have chosen a better alliance. He could have been more effective in establishing a new alliance after the merge. Out-muscle, not out-wit. I really find the manner in which he's "playing the game" pretty boring. He surely doesn't deserve the million.

I think I have to agree with Bicker. To me, Survivor isn't necessarily about doing great at all the challenges- it's about how to fit in with the group, how to know when to assert yourself and when to hang back....players like Sondra, Richard, Tom (who also happened to be good at the challenges, but also was good with people)....

I like Terry, he's certainly good at the challenges, and was great that he found the hidden idol. But I think Cirie has done a better job at assimilating into a group, and knowing when to say something, and when to keep quiet.

As far as saying some petty things about other players in her 'confessional,' I think ALL the players do this!

I hope Shane goes next week!

I've like Cirie since the first episode when she complained about not liking leaves! LOL that's my kind of girl. I love the colors of her clothes, the smile on her face and her laugh. I hope she wins it all.

Absolutely understand your point - except in this case I don't know what more Terry could have done. :confused3
The Casaya alliance was amazingly tight and in your face - can't believe such a dysfunctional group stuck together like they did.

I think Terry is playing smart. He knows it's going to be ugly when the Casaya group starts turning on their own. In fact I'm waiting to see Shane's reaction to the vote back at camp. Not sure whether to expect a total disconnect or more death threats from him. :rolleyes2

Broken alliances are a messy thing when facing the jury. As of now Terry has none.

I'm with you on Cirie being quite the player. I don't think she has coasted at all.

Terry tried to make new alliances after the merge, more than once. Hell he even offered up the immunity idol but the members of Casaya just stayed together. Which is pretty mind blowing considering how Shane treated most of them before the merge.

They are mad he keeps winning immunity, they arent going to join with him.

After watching Courtney on the Today show I get the feeling she would vote Shane if he got to the final 2, she might even vote for Terry if he was there but she is def pissed at Cerie at Danielle so I dont think they would be getting her vote. I dont think Aras would either but it was harder to read her on that.

The best for me will be if Terry keeps winning immunity and they have to keep "eating their own" as Shane says.

Terry wasn't successful convincing anyone that it would be best to jump into an alliance with him.

Yes, Terry is very smart and I bet a lot of people didn't see it coming! He deserves the $1mm - not Cirie. She's too two faced for me. Says one thing and talks about you and everyone else. I also thought the comment she made about Terry (I wish he would break his arm) was totally uncalled for. I think the real her showed that episode. If she wins the $1mm it's a very sad day for Survivor.

I agree. Watch Cirie carefully. Last night, after the reward challenge, Terry extends a hand to her as she walks by and she completely and arrogantly chooses to keep on walking. She strikes me as someone who feels like they've been walked on all their life. Now that she has some acceptance and power, she is more free to be herself. Unfortunately, she is arrogant, disrespectful and mean spirited.

Remember, during the question/answer game last week, the team's answer for who couldn't survive out here on their own was Cirie. She is not worthy of the $1 million.

Terry on the other hand is a worthy survivor. He is ambitious yet has self-control. He is kind. He is void of self pity. His is disciplined, not impulsive.

He is dependable, not because he is so capable, but because he is so charitable. He does not stand on physical strength alone. The immunity challenges require a combination of brains and strength and character all of which he has in spades.

Two weeks ago before the immunity challenge when the Casaya members so quickly and gleefully choose to eat, they drastically reduced their chances of winning the challenge they so "desperately" wanted to take away from Terry. Having no self-control or strategic foresight, they acted foolishly. They were short-sighted and impulsive. This is not behavior that deserves to win survivor.

So you find winning all of the immunity challenges boring? So you'd rather have a deceitful person win because they're more interesting? I think the only past winner of Survivor that I feel truly deserved that title was the fire-fighter from Palau (whose name totally escapes me right now LOL). I don't like it when the schemers win. I prefer people who play the game rather than work around it.

Not only has Terry won all the individual immunities, he's found the hidden idol. And how many times has he been sent to Exile Island to survive on his own?

Besides what more do you want Terry to do? He can't choose a better alliance. You can't choose an alliance that won't take you. Casaya is full of idiots. They don't even like each other yet they won't break their alliance even though they are all clearly weaker.

Yes.

No, I'd rather have a person win because they outwitted their opponents.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cirie, Terry or Aras win. I think Shane is nuts but I hope he sticks around for pure entertainment value. Danielle seems like a nice enough girl but she's so boring so I'd be bummed if she won the whole thing.

Who were they "out-witting" when the Casaya members so quickly and gleefully choose to eat two weeks ago? As for alliances. Terry can't force a Casaya member into one. And frankly, to his credit, he doesn't go around lying and deceiving to get into an alliance. It is hard to play this game without lying and deceit. Two things that Terry isn't going to do.

That usually means being deceitful.
Is bluffing in poker being "deceitful"?

I want Aras to win. He built the foundation for a win. He's got enough strength, brains and strategy to win. And he's actually, among all of those remaining, the nicest person from what I can tell.

I don`t understand why they don`t send Shane to exile Island? :confused3

I think he would lose his mind if he was by himself with nothing. I can`t stand him. And I can`t understand why Cirie is in with him. Remember the second episode when he wanted to go home and then changed his mind and told Cirie and the other girl one of you is going this time and the other is going the next time. I feel he doesn`t deserve to be there. He wanted to quit. I would have sent him home on the second episode.

Please please vote out Shane.

You're getting redundant, Darth. Saying the same thing repeatedly doesn't make it any more compelling of an argument. Aras did compete in the immunity challenge; he didn't sit out and eat. Aras deserves to win the million.

Terry alluded to using his immunity idol to save a couple of his alliance-mates, and then reneged. I found that ridiculously short-sighted. He surely doesn't deserve to win.

Agreed. Aras didn't sit out. And I believe he was a bit disgusted with the others for sitting out. They could have worked together to block Terry from seeing / memorizing the underwater symbols.
