Official Star Wars Weekends 2013 Tips and Tricks

So, does everyone who buys something get into that meet? Do they sell kids or plus sized stuff or only the womens sizes? I have ordered for myself and DD online, but she is too little yet for women's sizes and I need plus.

The way it worked last year was, you went to the Her Universe section of the Darth's Mall tent, picked an item you wanted to buy and have her autograph, and they had a line you would stand in for her meet and greet.

Last year we did autograph sessions for James Arnold Taylor, Catherine Taber, and Ashley at the Her Universe meet. While they were all nice and willing to sign and pose for pictures, Ashley was by far the best and most talkative, especially to my 9yr old daughter.

We are just hanging out at the Phil airport waiting for our fight. Blew through security in no time flat. Now it is sit and wait. Can wait to to arrive in Orlando!!

Awesome to get comfirmation about being able to take pictures during the meet at the tent. The first time she did this, about 2 years ago I think, they didn't let you take pictures. Great that they changed that.

the parade should end by 11:15am. They'll hold a res. if you're 15min. late for it. And it's very close to the parade route so you'll have no problems

Everyone, please report back your experiences...what worked and what didn't. This will help for future planning.

She offers a lot of kids t shirts and this year will have a R2D2 sweatshirtthat comes in kids and adult sizes. Some of her adult items run up to 3XL. Her stock will vary in person but she usually has a lot of each size and she will let you try the stuff on to see if it fits. She's a wonderful girl, if your daughter is a Ahsoka fan please bring her, Ashley is just wonderful and her clothes are very durable and last a long time. My oldest Her Universe shirt is almost 4 years old now (bought it the day she launched the site) and it is still in great condition after being worn to a ton of events.

As for the pictures thing, I went 2 years ago and I took a ton of pictures with her. Didn't hear of anyone notbeing able to take a picture. And I know last year she did pictures so that confuses me a bit.

Here's what I'm planning for Saturday:

7:20- Merchandise tent
After that I'll ride some rides and meet characters.
10:25- Get a spot for the Motorcade
11:40- get to the Premire theater for Behind the Force
After that, go to Downtown Disney and MK.

Got up extra early to be able to sleep tonight....camcorder is charging, photo camera has new batteries, tri-pod is packed and ready to go.
List of things to find out:
How long Ray Park's autograph session will be?
At what time did the last person to get a Park's fp's for autograph get to the line?
Does the 501st and Rebel Legion march on to the Star Tours gate?
Do some characters meet during the parade (Vader and the ones in the Tent)? Kenny might be able to find this answer before me.
End of the Day of Friday what L.E. merchandise is left at Darth Mall?

any other questions?...I'll be checking the character lines thru out the day to see the length of them, I'll post what time they gave out wristbands, fast passes, what time they opened the park and maybe I'll be able to find out how fast JTA filled up

Just curious if anyone has any info about wait times for Chip and Dale. Since they're new this year I'm really curious how popular they are. Plus, they're ewoks so the part of me that adores those little creatures hopes the meet is popular enough to come back again.

I am excited for them...I am assuming they will have similar waits as other Disney characters and Chewie...but we will see tomorrow...

If anyone is looking at Her Universe this weekend would love to know if that R2D2 shirt goes up to 2x and what the price is...I really want it...

I'm packed and ready to head to Orlando tonight! Now hopefully I can get a few hours of sleep tonight and save my excitement for all of tomorrow!

Thanks for the info. DD is definitely a big fan. She is not the typical girly girl and loved Clone Wars. Watching was a family event in our house. Now Dr Who is family tv for the weekend. I ordered the self rescuing princess tee for DD and the Van Gough tardis from the website a couple of days ago. She plans to wear hers the day we go. I am excited that she will get to meet Ashley.
