It makes me so happy to know Rapunzel is there! DD LOVES "Punzel" and I was so happy to use one of the FP+ slots for the princess meet and greet.

WHen we were there this past week, you meet Rapunzel with the two other princesses, Cinderella and Belle, until 4pm. After 4pm, they replace Rapunzel with Aurora.

Yes, Rapunzel is there early then rotates out with Aurora.

I got the invite. I arrive the 16th and leave the 21st. I booked directly through Disney and I am taking the ME. We have six rooms in our group, but only three of us got the invitation.

I also got the invite for the fastpass plus. I was surprised to see it in my email. I picked the princess meet, Mickey meet, Haunted Mansion and Electrical parade.

I'm not sure I realized that FP+ was going to work for the parades.

I didn't understand how that was going to work either, so I didn't choose it. Special section or something?

When I chose the parade as an event, it told me I would be standing in front of the castle. I read on the dis that they are sectioning off parts of the parade route for this. I dont see how this is actually going to work either, but I thought I would give it a try. Hope it doesnt backfire on me.

Aww, that is really nice! It's sad that most employers don't give bonuses, especially when so many employees are doing more with less. We would love to have the same surprise with my DH's work!

You are absolutely right -- dh works for a wonderful family-owned small manufacturing company and (despite the occasional grumble) is generally very pleased with how they treat their employees. He's been there for 17 years (started with them the week after he graduated from college) and has worked his way up through the ranks... I expect he'll probably be there till he retires. Not very many companies like that anymore! We are very blessed and thankful to have such security, especially in the current economy/recession.

That's awesome! My 12yo knows our dates; the other kids know we're going but not specifically when. I just keep acting like it's really far off -- they'll be surprised when it's actually time to go! But I could never keep the whole thing a surprise. You are a stronger woman than I am!!

Ha ha. Same here. My soon to be 5yo knows, but we have talked about it for almost a year he thinks it's still a long way away. LOL

Wow, you're right, there aren't many companies like that anymore! My DH has been through 5 jobs in the past 7 years due to the nature of his industry. 3 of the companies folded completely. Thankfully, I've been with the same job and employer for 11 years, but I know that's rare these days!
