Official September 2012 planning thread! List on page 30!

The behind the Seeds tour is really intersting! I did it a couple years ago (I don't know if it had changed at all since then) and I found it really informative. They show you some of the amazing ways Disney has developed agriculture and even let you try some of the food they grow!

2nd this! :thumbsup2 We have done the tour 2 times and plan on doing it this trip as well. Adults and school age kids alike enjoy it. Our tour guides even had earthy names, Terra and Landon.

Gt my Mickey mail squeeeee. I'm so excited and crazy still changing ADR I canceled Marrakech and got teppan Edo instead...never eaten there so thoughts?
Also we will be at ASMo again ( we love it) we usually ask for the herbie building since my oldest loved herbie, this time we are proffered ( cheaper were sold out) but I don't want a noisy building yet somewhat close to a pool for the boys don't mind walking some though....suggestions?

We will be at ASMo as well, but it will be our first time. Maybe you could ask for room suggestions on the ASMo board. They are a little quiet over there, but helpful. Here's the link :)

Sounds like a good trade to me. I have never eaten at Teppan Edo, but Marrakech was hands down the worse table dining we have done at WDW. FYI we love the Tangienne QS!

14 days!!

I almost moved our trip up a day to fly in the night before, but the $200 extra cost for the one night at the hotel stopped me.

Here is hoping my kids can hang when they have to be up at 5AM :faint:

Last day of work before vacation! I have all the clothes I'm wearing picked out, tomorrow I will be doing laundry and cleaning, Friday packing and getting the dogs ready for my SIL (she's keeping them), and Saturday morning up early to be at the airport at 7 am! We'll arrive at MCO by 11 am, check in at Poly and make our way to DHS and then EPCOT for our dinner reservation. I can't wait! Just 3 more days left!

I am having the same worries, we will have to leave our house around 3am. I am hoping our kids fall back to sleep in the car ride to the airport for the hour ride.

I hope that to, but I don't think they will, they will be to excited to get there.

We have an ADR at Cape May that night, so we may just to the resort/ pool nap then head to dinner at cape may, then Epcot had EMH at night, so we could hit that if everyone has napped.

Then on our check out day when we would do resort/ pool we will just hit Ecpot instead.

I am getting so excited..

Has anyone done the Spirit of Aloha?

20 DAYS!!!

We are staying at All Star Movie and I've never stayed there. Does anyone have any suggestions on which building/room is the best? I'm clueless on what area to ask for. My girls are big swimmers so I guess my first choice would be close to the pool. Anyone have any personal experience to help me?

THANKS!

We did Movies the first time we went, we stay at a new resort every time we go. We did stay preferred and got the 101 Dalmations building. It was the best location. It does not face the main pool so it is not too loud and it is located right between the main pool and the Mighty Ducks pool so walking to either is great. The main hall is the same distance as the Fantasia building just walking to the left instead of straight. Would have loved to stay in the Toy Story buildings but there is no pool near by.

I find if you stay further away from the main hall, you don't use your mugs as much (if you are getting one) We were far from the main hall at POR and did not use them much.

See my response above...we loved Dalmation building

We too have a 6am flight leaving our house at 4am. My kids are usually too excited in the car to go back to sleep but once they are on the plane, zzzzzzzz! The white noise of the engine does them in and it makes the 2 1/2hr flight fly by for them (literally haha)

Great switch! Love Teppan Edo, have never had a bad meal there :)

We are taking a 7 am flight, leaving our house between 4:45 and 5:00. I'm hoping DD will sleep a bit on our 2.5 hour flight, but last time we did that she didn't and fell asleep at our 'Ohana dinner. I have a picture of her sleeping with a french fry hanging out of her mouth. At 5:30 PM LOL

Kinda jealous of all of you with short flights. I may live only 20 minutes from our airport, but flying takes most of the day!! We are leaving at 7 am our time, and land in MCO at 430! :(

I'm jealous of the short airport drive! We have a 4-hr car ride to the airport and a 2 1/2 HR flight. Add in the 2 hrs for security and boarding and it's a looooong day.

1 more day till online checkin
2 more days till my birthday
7 more Nights of work
9 more days until we leave
11 more days until we arrive
13 more days until very first MNSSHP

So excited -- exactly one more month! I snagged a First Haircut appt at Harmony Barbershop on 10/5 for my littlest today. Big sisters wanted hair gel and sparkles but I couldn't get them all in together, so they're out of luck this time. We might try it as walk-ins that day.

I made a date with my inlaws (who are coming along on this trip) for a Disney Planning Night in two weeks. They're finally starting to get excited, too. They haven't been to WDW since 1985 so they don't get all the fuss about planning, ADR's, etc. I'm sure they'll be shocked when I pull out The Big Book Of Disney and start laying out my calendars, spreadsheets, touring plans, maps, planning pages, etc!
