We booked our flights for our Halloween trip! So I guess, we’re not backing out now. Hopefully the Boo Bash ticket information will come out soon, so I can knock that out too!

Well hopefully for you, you don't have to, but since most airlines have now dropped change fees, you likely can still re-schedule if necessary.

We aren't completely committing until the 1st of august, which is our VRBO cancellation deadline for a full refund. I'm still not completely optimistic about Covid restrictions going away...yet.

After a looooong and difficult 18 months, including DH and I both WFH, and homeschooling 3 kids (2nd grade, 6th grade, 9th grade) .... I've decided I DESERVE A BREAK! Just booked a girls only trip for me and my BFF for Oct. 8-12. We booked 4 nights at Swan and Dolphin through Costco, with 3 day park tickets. She's not a major Disney freak like I am, but we can have fun anywhere we go, so she is all for letting me take the lead on planning. So, soooo excited to be heading back.

Being the weekend after the 50th kicks off, I'm anticipating larger crowds than usual (assuming they increase park capacity) but neither of us are super fussed about rides, so we'll likely ride what's easy/low waits and just enjoy the ambiance, eat and drink. Sadly we're not scheduling a day at Epcot, as I figure that would be her least favorite, so won't get to do the Ratatouille ride until 2022's family trip. I'm hoping FP+ comes back before then. I don't even know how to do a trip without them! LOL!!

Just curious why you think Epcot would be her least favorite? Especially if focusing on eating and drinking, not rides? It’s not our favorite but seems perfect for your plan

She is not interested in World Showcase at all and not really into any of the other rides. Just a personality thing. Honestly, I was kind of let down by Epcot in 2019 vs all the other parks when it had been a favorite prior. Maybe due to the numerous closures and we made the mistake of going on a Sat. during F&W. I'm looking forward to going back with the family after Ratatouille, GOtG and Harmonious debut though!

Because last month they said tickets on sale next month!! And up to now the app only shows times until the 8/9, and I think the 1st party is starting on the 10th... sooooooo I’m just hoping it is!!!

Never ever go on Saturdays during F&W.

I am on property right now actually on my birthday trip and will be heading to Epcot on Wednesday. I’ll let you know how things are there now.

Lesson learned!! It was the only day we could work Epcot in and I think we just underestimated how many people would just be standing around and randomly stopping in front of us. We still had a good time, for sure, but was surprised to have moved DHS up in the ranks this last trip. Galaxy's Edge definitely helped on that front.

Getting trip members organized for buying Boo Bash tickets!

If it follows regular party days, would be Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I think.

So either the two of us (alone) will go on our first Thursday if that's the only day - this is my preferred plan.

If it's also on Friday, my brother arrives that day, so he'd want to come.

If it's also on Sunday, my sister arrives that day and she wants to come.

This is annoying! Fingers crossed it's just on the Thursday!

I was so hoping for Friday, 10/8 and it's on the list. Love it when a plan comes together. That's going to be one expensive day - cabana in the morning and party that night. Yikes! But since I haven't been on a real vacation since I can't remember when I am just going with it!

Unfortunately we are priced out on this one. Going so late in October, our tickets will probably be near the $169 end and no way I can justify almost $400 for 3 extra hours.

Way too expensive.
