***OFFICIAL*** October 2011 - Updated 10/08/11

Im not crafty at all:sad2:

I have already been to the disney store and bought plenty of tshirts!

GOOD NEWS....there are TONS of things already made, or there are Diser's on here who will put things like your family name and dates on things for you.

Come on - you need something to do for the next couple of weeks.

I'm with you. I have 25...wait, 24.5 more days and I'm out of things to do too. Another 2 days and some MNSSHP reports should be in...that will help for a little while...

i keep checking the MNSSHP thread to look for updates knowing there arent any right now.....it really is just sad at this point.

I forgot to mention, I even changed our flights/tickets/hotel to come in a day earlier :cool1:

They actually think we are going to MEXICO :rolleyes1

ahhh, I see! That's a good idea. We wouldn't be lying, though, because DH and I would spend a good chunk of time at the tequila bar in Mexico/Epcot. I've heard wonderful things about it, but obviously not the place for a 8 and 3 year old!

And to add to the "i have nothing left to do" I get very upset when there are no updates on my "subscribed" threads! LOL.

So, people, for the love of Disney, entertain me. :rotfl2: Make the time go faster.

I'll second that! I've even - gasp - looked at other sites!:scared1:

I was hoping there would be a message from my TA that my other Mickey Mail had arrived. We are waiting for both to get here before we meet to hand it over, uh, I mean she'll give them to me.:rolleyes1

I've printed out all the dining confirmations, Universal confirmation for tickets, MNSSHP confirmation, I've started packing (yes, I know it is still 33 days!:lmao:), I've looked at places for snacks and lunches til I have no idea what we are going to eat (going OOP), and I'm dangerously close to changing something (anything!) just to have something to do! :rolleyes1

Whew - I feel better.

DW and I able to get 1 more day off from work so now going Oct.25 -30 still at AsMo 1 more full day at MK :woohoo:

both DH and I forgot to get the mail out of the mailbox yesterday? When I took the kids to the bus stop this morning I looked in and the rest of our Mickey mail had arrived!

Costume update...

I ordered DH this wig...

http://www.halloweenexpress.com/ken-wig-p-22364.html

but since Ken's hair in the movie is brown, I spent 90 minutes coloring it with a brown Sharpie yesterday, and it turned out suprisingly great! Still painting the print on DH's shirt and it is such a slow process! I'll be so happy when it's done! I think it's going to look fantastic! I'll post pics when it's finally done.

On the packing front, I have already pulled the kids clothes out for the trip and made them off limits. Fortunately, my kids have way too many clothes so they won't really miss the ones I've banned them from wearing. :rotfl: I've also started making all my lists of what bag gets packed with which things. Lots and lots of lists!

31 days left!!!

I can't wait to see pics your customes sound great.

Our baby starts preschool today, he is so excited. His preschool is in the local highschool so he keeps telling his sister he is older.:rotfl:

Oh what am i going to do with myself for 3 hours, oh yea read the dis board.:cool1:

I had a really bad cough about a month ago....I ended up on antibiotics because I am susceptible to pneumonia. Thanks goodness it went away, but it hurt every time I coughed. Feel better soon!

DH and DS10 will be at that game. Did I mentioned DH has season tickets? And he loooooves Penn State. Yes, he will be the fool in navy blue in a sea of maroon (my son will be wearing maroon). UGH....gotta love husbands. Anyway, I should be dropping him off, but I'm not sure yet. You can't miss my car.....it's a white mommy mobile with blue vinyl Disney stick figures on the back window.

I understand this sentiment.

Thanks. I have an appointment with the ENT tomorrow. my cough is chronic and I think it's now cyclical and feeding off of itself. I made chili last night, had 3 bites and about died. I'm hoping they can give me something to stop it!

For your DH:
PENN STATE SUCKS! PENN STATE SUCKS!! PENN STATE SUCKS!!! :lmao::lmao:

Did I mention I go to PSU for my Masters? It's really a constant struggle. I don't like it.

ETA: I won't be at the game because since I got diagnosed with Celiac, tailgating isn't much fun and I'm old school Temple when we didn't win, so we never go inside. We're not used to actually SEEING the games. :) I'll be meeting up with my friends after the game.

Im not crafty at all:sad2:

I have already been to the disney store and bought plenty of tshirts!

how about making envelopes for Mousekeeping? I think there are designs you can just print out onto the envelope. I need to do that still.

And to add to the "i have nothing left to do" I get very upset when there are no updates on my "subscribed" threads! LOL.

Ditto!!! :thumbsup2

Aw, your baby! My baby, my one and only, is now in the PreK1 class at school. It's different because they go up to PreK2 before they leave that school to go to Kindergarten, so I think it's not affecting me for that reason. She's been there since she was 6 months old. I envy SAH or WFH moms. I wish I could WFH and have her in part time. I'd bring her home at lunch for a nap each day and then only have to deal with her awake at the end of the day while I'm working, which is do-able. And we live an hour, at least, away from where we work and with the market as it is, can't afford to move right now. It sucks.

This was about you and your baby, though! AW, your baby!!! Big man!

We started our countdown calendar today. 40 days!! :cool1:

Ok, I have to run to Target before I am too late to go to get back for a meeting. Wish me luck so I don't spend too much!! :rotfl:

Joining in Late..... but hey better late than never

17 days to go

Oct 1st to 15th staying at PoP

Mnsshp on the 2nd with BBB that afternoon for my 4yr old niece to princessified (again). princess:

So I took the plunge and ordered the tutu for my costume from Etsy yesterday... (side note: that's a something I NEVER thought I would say in my late 30s...HA).

I plan to look around at some discount stores for some kind of tank top, bustier, something for the top. And shoes. Oh goodness. I haven't even thought about what shoes! I think I'll be wearing this costume for years to come. lol

I can't start really packing until my luggage gets here! Hopefully that will be tomorrow. I guess I could start making a list, but that sounds like actual work...not fun. Ha

Lisa - I will not be passing your message on to hubby....he'll probably throw something at me. :) It's all in good fun, though. We never do tailgating either. DH does not drink at all and I drink rarely (except in WDW....there are margaritas aplenty!), so it's not fun for us to sit around. He was a season ticket holder a few years ago and really liked it. We just haven't had the funds for him to do it again until this year.

Speaking of DH....srauchbauer.....hubby understand your situation. DS2.9 is already in preschool because he is delayed with speech. So, hubby has 3 hours to himself each morning and is never quite sure what he should be doing. I told him he needs to take that time to himself.....he runs around after the kids the rest of the time, not to mention doing the housework.

I cannot wait to see pics of the Ken & Barbie costumes!!! I envy your patience.....I would've given in to the darkside by now.

PrincessEire....welcome!!!! Join the conversation....whatever we happen to be talking about at that particular moment. :rotfl:

Oh.....and those mousekeeping envelopes sound interesting....I will have to find them.......

Awwww, come on!!!! Just tell him over the phone!

It is Mad Hatress! I bought this lil mini-mad hatter hat so I'm trying to match that. Something simple: tutu (long-ish one because I'm too old for the sexy ones. ha), knee-length tights, bustier/tank thing. I not usually a costume person, so this is really going all out for me. HA

Here's the hat
