I'm thinking about just FastPassing the Rivers of Light/Jungle Book show, once those are available. I don't think there's a ton of stuff I need FastPass+ for at AK. I hope they release the November Fantasmic dining soon, though!

7 more days to go before ADR and I still have no idea what we want and when this trip I am freaking out just a little :scared1:
Hard to plan a California grill or Narcoosee fireworks dimmer without a schedule isnt it?

Hell, I can even plan my MK day not knowing if there will be Wishes or not!!!!!!

How can we give WDW our money for a dessert party ..IF WE DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHEN WISHES WIL BE????????????

Sorry this is getting annoying, come one WDW , get it together!!

I am getting annoyed now too!

My adr day is Monday and I have a day planned where we go to MK in the afternoon and stay for wishes but obviously hoping that they will be on that night.

Is this normal for the schedule to still not have this info? ( I know they sometimes change hours closer to the time )

I don't remember the schedule being this up in the air the past two years. Some of the dining wasn't released until summer, but the hours/fireworks were for the most part set, aside from adjusting MK opening times near to the holidays.

Phew it not just me getting humpy with the lack of Firework Schedule.

I've booked Chef Mickey Dinner for Friday 4th Nov under the proviso that we'd finish up there, then take a walk to MK to catch the fireworks (But now doubting they will be on that night especially if it closes at 8pm)

Also thinking on what would be the best night to plan my California Grill meal, can someone tell me again roughly when are the fireworks on Party nights, as I might co-ordinate it with that, I think its around 9.30pm but want to be as sure as I can (Until the schedule comes out)

I pulled up the schedule and for the last three years they have been 9:30 on party nights, so your thinking is spot on!

So, question for those who may know. I've seen conflicting information.

If I check in on the 14th for RO and then my package starts the 15th... Can I start my ADRs with my RO on the 14th or do I need to wait until my 180 days/15th package date hits?

I asked this on another thread awhile ago and the reply I got was, you could make an ADR for your RO reservation but you had to wait until the 180 days to make the package ADR's. I wish it was the other way around, it would make everything easier!:)

Thanks for the quick reply! That's a bummer! I was hoping to make mine before the rush of everyone checking for free dining started, haha. I'm sure that's what all of us would like!!!

I only heard this answer on the DIS,(never tried it myself), so you could always try it anyway and see when you are booking your ADR for the 14th!

So, I bet someone here knows the answer to this question! We are trying to book for November, but are still unsure of our dates. I am getting nervous about making dining reservations because we will not know when we are going for sure until beyond the 180 mark. We are def. staying on site. I sort of have a ballpark idea as to when we will be going, give or take a few days. Should I just book a "fake" reservation in the mean time so I can at least begin to book our ADRs? The ADRs are not connected to my reservation, right? So, if end up needing to cancel that reservation and make a new one with the correct dates, I will still have my ADRs and can just modify those if needed?

Last year it was the same way. When the Nov. schedule first came out, the nighttime entertainment wasn't listed for the whole month. It might have been listed for the beginning, but for Thanksgiving week, which is when we went, there were no Wishes/MSEP/Fantasmic at all. Josh at easywdw was confident they'd be added and put times on his crowd calendar that he thought they would be. For the most part he was right, just a couple were different.
I want to say it was Sept. before they were added for that week. Definitely not added yet when I made my ADR's in late May and not there yet in July, I know that. Not that this helps you at all except I believe you can count on them all being added (which also doesn't help those of you looking or times). Sorry!

You don't even have to make a "fake" reservation, unless you want the +10. You can make ADR's within 180 days from any date even with no on-site reservation, since, as you said, ADR's aren't connected to it. I've done this a few times, we knew we were going a certain month and had an idea of the days but weren't sure, so I booked a few ADR's and then cancelled what I didn't want/need once we knew dates for certain and actually booked our resort.

You can still make dining reservations 180 in advance even without a resort reservation.

The difference is, if you have a reservation, you can make all of your dining reservations 180 days out from your check-in day.

So, there are no consequences to making a "fake" reservation while we settle on our dates and then book something new with a TA? I would obviously just cancel our original reservation, but keep all ADRs that match up with our set dates, and cancel the ADRs that do not. Nothing could go wrong here, right? haha, I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly!

Thanks for the info and you have no need to apologise! Not unless you are the official Mrs Disney that plans the schedule? :smickey:

I will carry on and plan my MK evening and hope that they have wishes that night. It's not the end of the world for me as we are staying at GF so we could 'pop' over one evening that they are scheduled for.

Right it's getting worse, I am now having Major ADR anxiety (I thinking it should become a reconsidered health issue, as I know I can't be the only one who suffers from it lol)

It's Disney and there lack of Fireworks Schedule, messing with what's left of my tiny mind.:joker:

so now I'm making multiple booking for the same days and getting stressed with all my planning,

So needed to vent on the boards. As when I raised the issue with my DH he's like, it's ages away do we really have to start planning these things now, Freaking amateur
