We are back now, all the laundry is done, suitcases put away, back at work and the magic is gone

We had a fantastic trip, weather was pretty good, it rained the day we left but we didn't have outdoor plans that day so it was ok. We didn't get to see everything we wanted to but that is ok. The dancing lights at HS were AMAZING!! A MUST see for everybody.

If anybody has any questions let me know. We stayed in Jamaica at CBR.

We've been home for a day now. Most of the laundry is done and bags put away. DH keeps saying that now that we've been for summer and the Christmas party, we won't have to go again. Lol. Silly husband! DDs and I are already plotting a girls only trip if that's how he feels.

Some special moments of pixie dust from this past week: on Thursday we went to mini golf by blizzard beach. When we were returning our clubs, the two guys working there asked who won. Of course DD5 raised her hand. So he says let me get you your big check because that's what you get when you win a golf tournament. He comes back with a piece of paper with a big check mark on it. Then he gave both kids a Donald Duck golf ball to keep. Also on Thursday, we went to MVMCP. During the parade Santa says I know you've been good all year and points right at my oldest daughter. The look on her face was priceless. Later, we bought a pretzel and some frozen cokes at the stand in tomorrow land. I paid the lady and she says oh no, I sold you a pretzel and we're all out but they are brining some out from the back soon. No problem I say we'll just wait at the table. It was only a few minutes and they get the pretzels and she brings us not one pretzel but 3! They didn't need to do that but we sure did enjoy the hot pretzels.

It was a great week!

What an awesome Thursday you had! I love it when CMs give you little dustings of unexpected pixie dust! The 'giant check' is hilarious!

I would be all for a girls only trip too with that attitude! Trips like that can be so much fun!

Hey guys, I am excited to share I just got a whole bunch of Christmas shopping done for the kiddies, and I went Disney crazy! I know no one else in my family will appreciate my Disney purchases, so I thought I'd share here!!! I was able to save some money too so I'll share those details incase anyone else is looking for similar items for Christmas gifts!

So for my DS (2) I ordered him the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset, a Lightning McQueen Pillow Pet and a Talking Woody Doll! For DD (5) I ordered her an "It's a Small World" Hawaiian Doll (from her Favorite Ride!!), Bullseye the Horse (she's been asking for over a year now for it), The Wreck it Ralph movie and an Xbox 360 game called Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure.
I think they're going to be SOOO excited on Christmas!! Disney World will be so fresh in their memories and I think it will be a really nice way to top off the vacation!

I was able to get free shipping and 10% off with my Disney Visa card at the Disney store, plus 3% cash back at Ebates.

Toys R Us has 15% off regular priced items today, so I was able to save that on both the Woody & Bullseye doll plus 6% cash back at Ebates!!

We still get to go. Yay. My mom was admitted to rehab yesterday and will be there for a few wks. Although we will miss her not going with us she will be with us in spirit.

Yesterday was our first park day & we went to MK. Day went great. Had just a quick snack for breakfast as we had BoG FP at 11:00am. BOG was amazing. The braised pork was so tender & the masters cupcake was delicious. We had FP+ for space mountain, haunted mansion & big thunder railroad. Was a little disappointed that we couldn't get KTTW cards to pull other FPs like all the other resorts but in all honesty the standby lines were always 10 mins, and that was for the headliners. Hopefully it will hold up like that all week, especially at HS.

This is our 4th trip & I had never previously tried a Dole Whip until yesterday. I don't know what was wrong with me but I'm so glad I did. It was so refreshing since it was so hot. We went to 'Ohanas for dinner & to be honest I didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would. I did love the dumplings & bread pudding & the little cupcake they gave me for my birthday though. My DH insisted that I try the Lapu Lapu since it was my birthday & that thing is soooo strong.

We went back to MK for a little bit after, was able to ride more rides with a short standby line & then headed back to POP. We had just missed the bus for POP so decided to catch AoA's bus & time the walk back to our room. We are in Building 1, room 1161, right behind the laundry building & it took us 10 mins to walk. Not sure if it's worth it but hey you never know unless you try.

All in all yesterday was a great day & expect today to be as well.

Just a quick question, does anyone know if there is a DTD bus from AK now, I thought I read a little while ago that there was. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hey! I know, my DH and I have been checking the weather constantly!!!!! About 4 days ago, it was showing 81 on Sunday!!! Not only that, but it looks like rain every day so far!!! Ugghhh let's hope it keeps getting warmer!! I was hoping to at least swim a couple days too!!!! When do you leave?

I was upset when we left the 17th without a bb offer in our room
Then when we boarded the train to come home I went on facebook and noticed people posting about the offer being in the welcome book and I kind of freaked out and was even more upset (I'm used to seeing these offer on a card on the desk....NOT inside a book ). Anyways, after hubby calmed me down and said we could go back in 2 years....I was okay. Going through my bag I noticed a little book that said Be our guest guide...I opened it and BAM there was the BB offer on an insert. Got me more upset that I missed it so hubby told me to call and see what they say. I called and explained that I didn't see the flyer because I'm used to seeing it on the table. She asked for my reservation number from our stay that we just checked out of....that wonderful CM said that she would be glad to book it for me We are now booked for AKL for Sept 28 - Oct 3, BUT I am changing the dates for Value prices

Once a BB offer is booked can you make changes? We booked poly again for next year with the BB but I want to change to GF

so dissappinted i missed the dessert party. I hurt my self on the scooter and had to bow out. No refund either. I didnt like doing disney ona scooter i am a walking person. Just a great reason to book the BB lol Will be walking next trip and booking dessert party way in advance
