The photos by Cinderella's Coach & the HM w/ghosts, is this done all night until midnight?

it may be here already, but too many pages to search all of them, does anyone have a picture of the coach & ghosts. Last year the line was soooo long, we didn't get them done. I also think I saw a picture posted and thought, glad I didn't wait it out... Any photo's available to save me a long wait :goodvibes

going on the 14th and can't wait. I will be the one wearing the jack skellington shirt!!

Regarding the HM Photopass ghost.. Is this done only on MNSSHP nights? It seems like I remember someone saying they got theirs done in February or some early month. Is this an all-the-time thing now, like Tinkerbell and baby Simba and the others?

I'm so excited! Not only is it my first trip "home" with our (my boyfriend and I) DVC membership at Saratoga Springs, but it's my first time to vacation at Disney during Halloween! We will be at the MNSSHP on October 4th! Does it usually get really crowded? Also what rides do they usually keep open? Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were supposed to go to MNSSHP on Sept 14th but we had to cancel. My DSis already bought the tix. She has 6 that aren't going to be used. Any ideas? I really don't want them to go to waste, especially since they are already paid for. I suggested trying to sell them the day of but I don't know Disney's rules regarding ticket sales by a guest while on Disney property. Feel free to send ideas via PM. TIA!

mousehouselover, I might be willing to buy one of those tickets from you -- I just need to find out if someone in our party wants to go to the party or not.

I'm new to this post and I've seen slews of people with ADR's at LTT. I've searched through tons of pages and I was wondering if there is something special about LTT that I should know about? Thanks :) Also, I was also wondering how the crowds are this time of year at all of the parks. Does the MNSSHP draw a lot of people to the area? Or is it just a bonus to be there? We're trying to decide between visiting around Christmas, or visiting around Halloween and smaller crowds are really important. What can you tell me? Again, thanks a bunch :thumbsup2

1- LTT (for dinner) is a character meal, and the characters dress up in Halloween costumes. Very cute for the kids- great photo ops. Also, LTT is a good location- kind of "in the middle of things" at MK. The parade goes right by the front of the restaurant.

2- MNSSHP draw- lots of locals do go to the weekend parties, and the ones very close to Halloween and on Halloween itself. But I wouldn't say that huge numbers of travelers are planning trips to WDW in October JUST for MNSSHP (despite what you read here on the DIS- we tend to be a not-too accurate representation of Disney vacationers, since we are :ahem: rather fanatical!:rotfl: ). For the large majority of WDW visitors in October, the MNSSHP and Food & Wine Festival is a nice "extra".

3- Crowds- IMO, Halloween vs. Christmas crowds are no contest. October is not even close, crowd-wise.

Thanks, Jen! LTT sounds like a great place for dinner then. Do they dress up in costumes before every MNSSHP? What is the best time to usually make dinner reservations? We've never been to MK, let alone during the MNSSHP and every little detail matters :) Thanks so much :thumbsup2

The MNSSHP officially starts at 7pm, but you will be allowed in the gates with just your ticket as early as 4pm. We timed our LTT ADR so we were done before 7pm- that way, we wouldn't waste any party time with eating. We like to allow 90 minutes for dinner, between arriving, waiting to be seated, eating, and interacting with the characters. I'd think an ADR time of anywhere between 4pm and 5:30-5:45 would be perfect. The characters are in costume for all of the MNSSHP dates, and I believe they are dressed up from the earliest dinner ADRs until closing.

Call ASAP, because LTT is tremendously popular on MNSSHP nights. Good luck with your plans and have a great time!

We are planning on attending on Friday 9/21. This will probably be the last time my daughter will Trick or Treat, she is 12. Will she be able to actually trick or treat with the other children or will she be considered "too old" to go around in her costume and receive candy? I think she should be OK, just looking for a little reassurance, thanks!

No worries! Even grown ups can trick or treat at Disney! Last year my teenage boys did it, and so did I! :goodvibes

Alright, I'm almost 30 and I'm still beyond excited... less than a month... been almost 3 months since I've had a consistent two days off work, so I need the vacation...
September 21, 2007... anyone else there... look for the guy with the Kentucky accent in the Jack shirt with his wife in the Sally shirt. That will be me!

Thanks to everyone for the posting on this board... it just keeps me pumped and going waiting for the trip!

Never knew anything like this existed... you all should get checks from Disney... definitely it was this board that convinced me to go to the MNSSHP!

Thanks and take care,
James
