The Trail behind toontown has a ton of characters you don't usually see. What I remember off the top of my head is that it was Alice themed (in 06 anyways) and that there were a bunch of "cards" and the Walrus!!
And if I remember, the balloons are bright orange and have Goofy on them.
You really do get a TON of candy. I was pretty surprised. It was a Lot of fun.
Im so excited this will be my first MNSSHP! I will definatly be there on the 5th for the Dis meet (check out my siggy if u want more info). Then im thinking I may check it out on the 4th as well.
we'll be there the week of the 13th-- anyone have an idea when they'll announce the AP or DVC discounted dates? I have to start working on my ADR & itinerary and I'd like to know which night we'll be going to MNSSHP -- the 15th, 16th or 18th.
TIA!
Yes - it's yet another question about the weather! (Sorry)
I checked to see what the typical weather is for October is high of 85 & low of 65. We'll be there the 16th. I get cold very easy so I tend to panic about this, so here goes. Can I assume that the weather will be nice enough in the evening that we (mostly the kids) will be okay in just their costumes and won't need sweaters? It just depends upon what costume DD will wear and if I can acutally get around to making the coat that goes along with DH's costume.
Thanks!
I know mid-September is a slower time of year, but for those of you who attended the 1st night of MNSSHP last year, how were the crowds? Is everything up and running, or are there some 1st night glitches that you noticed?
No more free pics, but they do offer 50% off pics of the pictures that are taken that night. Its a separate photopass card than the normal one. The main pictures to get that night, is in front of cinderellas coach, which i if i remember right is by IASW, and then in front of the HM by the doombuggy, (they insert a ghost driver!).
I've gone to parties Oct 2, Oct 26 and Halloween night twice and it has NEVER been cold. We never needed sweaters or pants, even at night. We were always very hot at night at the parties so we tried to pick costumes accordingly but one year DH wore a Beast costume and he was dying all night and couldn't wait to get it off.
October is one of the most beautiful months in regards to weather. Not much rain, lots of sun, but not too hot (like August) and not cold either.
You can pack a sweater just in case, but I don't think you will need it. Hope this helps.

In the past we've gone around the 6th or 7th of October, but we are thinking of going a few weeks earlier this year, so we're looking at either attending the 1st or 2nd night of the party.
