"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

People reporting mixed results over on the FP board about getting FP with a party ticket. Anyone have experience to report this year? My window is in 2 days.

From what I've read, there's a thread on the fp board, it seems to be connected to the date you bought your tickets. I was able to make mine for the 1st party, but I bought my tickets the week they came out. I'm not sure if anyone has been able to figure out the date they changed it in the system, but if you bought your tickets before then you can make them and if you bought them after people haven't been able to make them.

Curious about the Princesses and their Princes, do you get in one line and get to meet all of them or do you have to get in a different line for each set?

I bought mine in Aug and was able to make FP no problem.

I'm confused about the party tickets needing to be on a "phantom" name or even a separate profile. Why is this?
and how do I do it? If I link them to a phantom name on my account...will I still be able to get into the party?

They don't need to be under a phantom name. People are doing this as a way to get around the FP system. If you are going to a different park earlier in the day with regular park tickets and make FP+ with those tickets, you will not be able to make FP+ with your party ticket on top of that. If you create a "phantom" account for your party tickets, this allows you to also schedule FP+ for the hours of 4-7.

However if you only plan on using party tickets that day, this isn't an issue to be concerned about.

Anyone know when party t-shirts will go on sale? We are going to the first party and it will be too warm for my long sleeve t-shirt from previous years.

So, I know that this has been explained before...and I apologize. I have been super busy and haven't had a chance to research. If I want to create a seperate profile to get extra FP for the party, what do I do? Make up a phony name? Do the Fast Passes link to your magic band?

 Hi fellow Texan! What day are you planning on attending the party? DH and I will be there Thursday, December 8th. :tink:

This will be our first time at MVMCP, and I have a 5:00 dinner reservation at 1900. Should I keep it? What time do the activities begin? Thanks guys!!
The party officially begins at 7pm, but you can get into MK starting at 4pm. I think it depends on what you plan on doing at the party. I've read that in some nights, the lines for characters start before 7pm.
IMO I think you'd be fine to keep a 5pm ADR at 1900, unless you want to get the most out of your tix and get there at 4pm to start riding rides.

Does anyone know when the schedule of events will be out for MVMCP? I know that the parade is at 8:15 and 10:30 and the fireworks are at 9:30, but the lighting up the castle or whatever else... do we know anything about those times?

Touring Plans has the Frozen castle lighting listed at 6:15 and 7:30. I believe the 7:30 is only for non-party nights. Someone will correct me if I'm mistaken. There is also a show in Tomorrowland that repeats through the night.

Wow, such a helpful thread! I'm going with some friends on Nov. 27 and we're super excited--the one of the friends coming with me has never been to Disney before, and she's a huge Frozen fan so we'll definitely have to see the Frozen castle lighting.

If it's anything like MNSSHP then it's separate lines for each set. As I understand it, the princesses who are out normally (IE Cinderella and Rapunzel and whomever else in Fairytale Hall) will still be there, just with their princes. Others appear at various points. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

If you want to meet the 7 Dwarfs, Princesses w/Princes, or other popular characters, those lines will be forming at least by 6:00 and maybe earlier. With a 5:00 ADR, it will be at least 6:30 by the time you're entering MK. So, as PP said, it depends on what you want to do at the party as to whether to keep the ADR or not.

Thanks! We will have two other days at MK so we are mostly interested in getting the most out of the party
