A question concerning the special party merchandise for people who attended last years party. We would really love to get the party magic bands but we are going to the last party on 12/18. Will they all be sold out by then or do they sell so many per party? Do we have any chance of being able to purchase the magic bands on our party night?

My wife and I are going to the 12/6 party. We made FP+ but the latest I can get for BTMRR is 3:10-4:10. Is it possible to get in and make it by 4:10 to ride? I see that some times they start letting guests in about 3:45 so if that is the case I think we can make it but worried if it is not until 4 that we will not make it in time.

Also, what time does the line start forming? I remember last year we were leaving MK on the bus and the line getting into MK around 3pm was miles long for the party. I plan on parking at the MK lot around noon and then grabbing some lunch at the Poly and do some resort hopping until it is time to get in line for the party.

Sometimes they allow folks in at 3:45 (MNSSHP), if you do not have to go through bag check you will be fine. Bag check is what takes longer.
Friday parties, I believe, are the most highly attended, so take that into consideration when planning your time.
We go without bags, so it takes us a lot less time to get in.

It does, thank you! We never bother with any purses, bags, etc., so hoping 3:30 works. Now just have to decide the best ways to kill time - figured we should get to TTC fairly early, so at least we're parked. Then maybe monorail to a resort for drinks and tour of the decorations.

Any opinions on whether GF or WL is best? We toured GF last year (so gorgeous!), so seeing WF would be nice. But GF is so easy to get to....not sure if WL boat leaves right from TTC or from MK entry area?

It says in Tomorrowland, but can someone tell me by what ride, so I can get a landmark in my head, and know where I need to go, please. Also, will it be the same place for the Tomorrowland Xmas show? If not, can someone give me a landmark for that, please? Just not that familiar with Tomorrowland.

The boat to WL leaves from MK, not TTC, there is a ferry that goes from MK to TTC and back.
I really love WL, but unless we're eating there, we don't make a special trip. The GF on the other hand does have that amazing gingerbread house! (But you have seen it last year)...
Take into consideration that the boat ride is 20 minutes each way, and that you have to wait for the boat to arrive, IMHO I would stay on the MK side.

Our Halloween party this year was rainy...To be honest, it sucked. Characters and trick or treat spots were moved, but nobody communicated those changes. Lines were LONG. CMs were not friendly. They still did the parades and fireworks once the weather allowed. In the fall, a lot of CMs are on the college program and brand new so I think that leads to some amount of chaos when things don't go as expected.

Regardless, I look forward to the xmas party even if it does rain. I'll have a poncho and a positive attitude.

There were intense thunderstorms for 3/4 of my MNSSHP nights.

Characters will not come out if there is lightning in the area, even if there is no rain. If the lightning moves on, then most characters will be in a rain location until it's determined the rain system itself has moved on.

The parade can only go on if the ground is dry enough. I know it rained the first party, and they modified the princess float - not sure about the other units. But with the nature of some of the performers (especially those on skates) I would expect those portions of the parade to be modified as well. If anything, they may push up/delay the parades in order to beat/wait out the system.

The stage show runs the highest risk of being cancelled. The stage is 7ish feet in the air, and it has to be dry for the performers to come out. During Halloween, the Hocus Pocus show ran just the final song several nights rather than the full show - and this is what I have seen them do with the daytime show as well.

If there is a problem around the time of the fireworks, they will be delayed, but it takes a lot to actually cancel them. For the 4th of July fireworks on 7/3, we waited nearly 2 hours for them to be launched.

The biggest thing with the rain is that you have to just roll with it. Get a few inside rides, grab a snack, and know that Disney isn't making it rain just so you will buy another ticket

Thunderstorms were forecast for our Xmas party night even the day of. It ended up not starting until Wishes and we left after that because we had two toddlers and felt we got everything in we needed to. I would say go and see what you can get through! It's non-refundable anyway!

Nope. There are several stations throughout the park (Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland that I know of) where you can have your paper ticket scanned to get the wristband
