** Official ** March 2011!!!

We just booked at the Port Orleans French Quarter for Feb. 28 - March 10th.

10 Nights!! :woohoo:

We are bringing my then-17-month-old son, Henry. I can't wait, he's going to love WDW.

Last time I was there I was pregnant and missed out on a lot of rides, so I have a lot of catching up to do!

I plan to do my first trip report with this vacation, too. I want to start now!

We are staying at POP Centurty Feb 26th- March 6th. We were gonna stay at the CBR, but upon research and the fact that it would save 900 dollars on the trip we down graded, and upgraded the free QSDP to DP. All of our ADRS are booked. I managed to get LeCellier steakhouse for Feb 28th, the last night that it will be 1TS credit. I was kinda excited about that. I am so excited as this will be my first ever trip carrying my 8 year old sister anywhere for any amount of time, letterlone 4 states away from home. I am in the which parks on which days planning stage now, as well as the budget :scared1:... That part is always scarey, howevere i wanna make sure i have all the expenses convered and also plenty to spend. Im hoping everything goes as planned. :cloud9:

Yay for baby Henry's first WDW visit! I'm excited to take my Son too for the first time :) It's such a magical experience to take your babies there for the first time!

Would anyone like to share their trip plans, adrs, etc?? Would love to see what some of you are planning on doing while in WDW! I'm getting soooo excited! I'm still hoping for some sort of a discount as I would love to upgrade from POP!

Also, is anyone else planning on buying the DDP?? I'm 90% sure we are but last time it was just SOOO much food and now with DD#2 being 3 ugghhh it's going to be that much MORE food ;)

It probably won't be much of a help, but we really don't have a plan, as of now. It will be myself, DH and DS13 and 3 days to fit in the stuff we want to see. Of course, it is mostly the big stuff (The "Mountains", the coasters, Haunted Mansion, maybe Soarin (saw it in CA almost 6yrs ago) and hopefully I can get in a Figment fix.)

This will be our first time using a dining plan. Since it will be such a short trip, we have decided against table service meals and are doing the Quick Service Dining package. I just have to make sure we plan our meals in such a way to make sure we at least get our money's worth.

I love seeing everyone's plans! Other than ADR's made, I haven't done much mapping out past which days we'll be in which parks. I've been saving it to give me something to do between post-Christmas and our trip. :lmao:

We're doing a day at Kennedy Space Center for the first time - anyone been and want to tell me anything about it? My son is into space right now and he's really excited about that - I personally am a little bummed that it will "take" a day away from Disney, but gotta keep the little people happy. :lmao:

I love reading everyones trip plans! It makes it seem more real for me I guess ;)

We used the dining plan last year and LOVED it! I think QS would be great, esp. for those who don't like to plan around ADR's too much. Me, I'm obsessive with planning ;) So we do the regular DP. For CS in MK theres Cosmic Rays, AK has Flame Tree, Epcot for CS--options are endless! DTD has pucks express which is my FAV...and Earl of Sandwhich! YUM! LOL, just check out www.allears.net for the menus to try and get the most bang for your buck!

Awww, congrats on her first visit! She will have so much fun! We took DD#2 last year for her 2nd bday and she just LOVED it. I can't understand why some people say that is too young for Disney (that they won't remember it, etc..). My daughter is 3 now and I don't think there is a day that goes by without her mentioning our Disney visit :lovestruc

I'm sure she'll have a great time @ Akershus and Crystal Palace! My girls LOVED both ;)

That is AWESOME that everything is paid for already!!! I have a little saved but we still have a bit to go until we can breathe easy :)

We have a list of things we didn't get to do last year either ! I'm hoping we can accomplish those this time! My DD was 40 inches on her 2nd bday. I'll never forget, we took her on barnstormer which was a mistake...didn't realize it was a bit much for that young :( She loved it though :confused3

I feel like I've been slacking here! I'll have to post my ADR's and plans in a bit ;)

Nice name for your DD! I have a "Lily" too :) Though it was basically unheard of to name your daughter Lillian 9 years ago lol...It's become quite popular these days!

March 22nd - April 5th~~ But staying off site at Terre Verde as we are there for 2 weeks. We are a family of 6 - 2 parents, and then almost 4 teens! 18, 16, 14, 12!

Is it 36 inches for Barnstormer?? I'm thinking she just made it for that one, she must have been 36 then! I was thinking after I wrote that, 40 inches seems waaay tall for 2. My memory isn't so great these days, sorry:cutie:

I love seeing everyone's planning. Here's our itinerary so far:

Saturday, 3/26 - Arrival Day! No parks. We should arrive around noon, we'll have lunch at the Poly, maybe take a monorail ride, hit the pool. Hopefully get the room and unpack a bit. I'll take DD for an appointment at the GF salon to get her hair braided. We plan to watch the torch lighting at 6, then hop the monorail to our Chef Mickey ADR at 6:35. We'll watch the EWP and Wishes from the Poly that night and hit the sack!!

Sunday, 3/27 -- Magic Kingdom during the day. CS lunch (undecided). Pool time in afternoon. Dinner is 6 Pm at Biergarten, we'll explore WS a bit this night, catch Illuminations

Monday, 3/28 -- Epcot (FW) during the day. CS at Sunshine Seasons. Pool time in afternoon. Dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe at 6, DTD for the evening.

Tuesday, 3/29 -- Animal Kingdom morning. That's all we usually do there. We'll probably hop to DTD for lunch at Earl of Sandwich. More pool time. F! package at Mama Melrose for dinner and then a tiny bit of HS touring. Fantasmic! at 8:30.

Wednesday, 3/30 -- Blizzard Beach during the day, CS lunch there. Dinner is Crystal Palace at 5:30, some evening MK touring. We'll watch the evening parade and Wishes in the park this evening.

Thursday, 3/31 -- This day is open - we can go wherever. May do DHS rope drop if the kids want to do Toy Story Mania. CS lunch wherever. Dinner is at Ohana at 5:30. Evening is open as well.

Friday, 4/1 - Magic Kingdom day. DD and I (and my sister and her boyfriend) have lunch ressies at noon at CRT. pool time in the afternoon. Dinner ressies at LeCellier and some last Epcot touring.

Saturday, 4/2 - leave early, by 5 AM or so.

I love reading everyones plans as well :)

We are going during the same time too! We will be @ MK on the 27 and EP on the 28 and HS for Fantasmic (eating at MM's!) on the 29th (our 10 year anniversary too!). Are you following projected crowd levels and such? I'm hoping it won't be crazy busy as we were orginally planning on going in February but had to change due to DD's school schedule :( My girls hearts are set on AKL but we need a PIN or some sort of discount in order to pull that one off!

Yea Barnstormer is 36in and splash and soarin etc...are 40inches....Hey it isnt un heard of my neighbors little girl just turned 3 and she was 40inches when they went in September!!!! Having kids does many things to the memory...:rotfl:

Ain't that the truth! And having 3 of them, heck I'm lucky to remember anything these days!!

I also have a little one who was too short for things last time and is looking forward to being taller this trip BIG time! My 4 yr. old DD was 2 yr. 11 mo. last trip and too short for BTMR, TT and other things that she really wanted to go on - I can still very vividly remember standing by the misters outside of Test Track with her while she cried and pouted that DH and DS were on the ride. She just keeps saying, "Momma, I am tall this time! I'll go on Thunder Mountain Railroad with you!" And I have no doubt that she will and love it - she's my fearless child! We rode the Barnstormer about a dozen times last trip, but that did little to ease her pain.

So exciting to see my ticker go from 4 to 3 months! :) It'll be here before we know it!!!

One thing I'm really eager to see is what Fantasyland will look like while we're there and what stuff will be open or closed...trying to prepare the kids that their favorites from last time may be out of commission.
