** Official ** March 2011!!!

Thunder Mtn is my DD FAV, she would ride it again and again!

I also have a little one who was too short for things last time and is looking forward to being taller this trip BIG time! My 4 yr. old DD was 2 yr. 11 mo. last trip and too short for BTMR, TT and other things that she really wanted to go on - I can still very vividly remember standing by the misters outside of Test Track with her while she cried and pouted that DH and DS were on the ride. She just keeps saying, "Momma, I am tall this time! I'll go on Thunder Mountain Railroad with you!" And I have no doubt that she will and love it - she's my fearless child! We rode the Barnstormer about a dozen times last trip, but that did little to ease her pain.

So exciting to see my ticker go from 4 to 3 months! :) It'll be here before we know it!!!

One thing I'm really eager to see is what Fantasyland will look like while we're there and what stuff will be open or closed...trying to prepare the kids that their favorites from last time may be out of commission.

LOL thats just it! My girls are totally fearless and I'm a total WUSS :) Barnstormer was kinda rough on me

Last I checked DD was about 44 inches now so that should open up new possibilities for her too!

And YAY for the ticker going to 3 months!!

 My mom is going with us this time and she's pretty wimpy. Years ago I talked her into BTMR - I'm not at all some big brave coaster person - won't do EE, did Rockin' Rollercoaster once and don't have any desire to do it again, etc. but I honestly didn't think BTMR would be bad for her....yeah, I spent the ride smacking her arm to try and keep her from cursing. She just kept going (thankfully for the children around us, pretty quietly) "OH S***, OH S***"

My DD keeps saying she and Grandma will ride BTMR together. I said not unless we have a desire for our 4 yr. old to learn curse words. :rotfl:

My son is the total opposite of my daughter - he's saying he won't even do Pirates again and just wants to do Small World a lot....god help us. ;)

It's not official, but it's pretty darn close!

My birthday is March 5, PLUS that's the first Saturday of my spring break, so as a birthday treat I'm going to fly down to Florida to visit relatives, AND spend a day at Walt Disney World! (See ticker below)
:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I love reading everyones plans as well :)

We are going during the same time too! We will be @ MK on the 27 and EP on the 28 and HS for Fantasmic (eating at MM's!) on the 29th (our 10 year anniversary too!). Are you following projected crowd levels and such? I'm hoping it won't be crazy busy as we were orginally planning on going in February but had to change due to DD's school schedule :( My girls hearts are set on AKL but we need a PIN or some sort of discount in order to pull that one off!

That should be a nice Anniversary night!! I'm following projected crowd levels to a point. Some things just have to be the way they are - MK on the 27th for example, gotta go to MK first!! I'm hoping crowds aren't TOO bad either. We've always gone in early May, which is great. We were planning on either late Feb/early March or mid-April, but DH liked this timeframe best, AND it works best for the kids' school and sports schedules AND now my sister and her boyfriend will be there as well (they are attending a wedding in Daytona on the 25th)

I loved BTMR but RnRc is questionable for me this time. The first part is a little bit too fast. I loved the rest of it but that first part made me !!!

I guess Barnstormer kind of surprised me, it was pretty decent for being a "kiddie" ride. I'm sure your DS will change his mind when you all get there, I know I probably will ;)

Well, I can hope for a nice Anniversary night w/ three kiddos ;) They actually love dining and are well behaved in restaurants so it should be fun! Never been to MM's and we all LOVE fantasmic!

We are following via www.easywdw.com for now and that is pretty much what I based my days upon. According to the calendar MK is advised on the 27th , Epcot the 28th and I'm pretty sure the rest of your dates were all in the green as well...very similar to our schedule :thumbsup2 (we always do MK first too!)

Now I'm just praying to the pin gods to please send me a PIN!!!

I really need to get a ticker, I have no idea how many days we have until WDW :)

So here is my schedule for WDW!!!

27-MK lunch @ CRT 2:30
28-EP, lunch in France 12pm, dinner @ Garden Grill 5:30
29-HS, late lunch @ MamaMelrose 3:40 *F pkg
30-MK, Ohana's 5:00
31- DTD/Relax day, have ressies for Ohana BF @ 9:45 but??? thats if we manage to get up LOL
1- AK, Tusker House Breakfast @ 8am
2-EP, LeCellier lunch 11:55, Akershus Dinner 6:25
3-MK, lunch @ CP 3:40, then head back home :( BOOOO!

Why can't we just live in Disney? ;)

We are surprising my youngest with a trip for his birthday. He has been asking for a trip just him and I for his birthday. We are going March 16-21 staying at POP.

Can't believe it took me so long to stumble across this thread! We're going March 2-7 at Pop Century, for a short girls-only Flower & Garden trip.

I've got most of my plans and ADRs made, except for the 3rd which is proving to be a bit of a planning challenge because the Tigers just happen to be playing the Braves at WWoS that afternoon (game time still TBA). Once I know the game time I'll have a better idea of how we'll spend the day, but since tickets don't go on sale until January I'm thinking that's still a little ways off!

Would anyone like to share their trip plans, adrs, etc?? Would love to see what some of you are planning on doing while in WDW! I'm getting soooo excited! I'm still hoping for some sort of a discount as I would love to upgrade from POP!

Also, is anyone else planning on buying the DDP?? I'm 90% sure we are but last time it was just SOOO much food and now with DD#2 being 3 ugghhh it's going to be that much MORE food ;)

We're staying at Pop (a little apprehensively - I've never stayed value before, but DD9 saw pictures when I was helping a friend plan a trip and wants to try it!), so we get the quick service plan free, but we upgraded to the deluxe plan. We've done it twice before and just love it, so much so that we don't even want to settle for the basic DDP any more.

Our plans are still somewhat up in the air, because I'm not really sure what I want to do about my DHS Saturday over ESPN weekend, but right now it looks like this:

Wed, arrive early afternoon. Dinner at California Grill, 6pm. Wishes from the observation deck at 8.

Thurs, no idea what we're doing. Tigers vs. Braves at Wide World of Sports, still no game time announced. Maybe AKL in the morning for a couple hours, and probably a resort dinner but I haven't decided which one. Leaning towards Grand Floridian Cafe or Artist Point.

Friday, Epcot. Early reservation at Akershus, then get the rides out of the way before World Showcase opens. Flower & Garden. Dinner at Garden Grill. Evening EMH, with mom maybe taking the girls back to the room early if they're tired before I'm ready to call it a night.

Saturday, right now the plan is DHS. Not sure I'm going to stick with that with the ESPN events going on. Lunch at Brown Derby, dinner at Flying Fish.

Sunday, Magic Kingdom all day. Lunch at Plaza, afternoon break if the kids need it. Then dinner at Kona and back to the park for the light parade, Wishes, and evening EMH until the wee hours of the morning.

Monday, breakfast at Cape May and an early afternoon flight home.

I'm doing a happy dance today!

Received a PIN code recently and when my TA checked into it for us, she found out that we are going to save a whopping $1400 on our March trip!

Karen in Canada

Add us to the list! We had to change our dates from Dec. to Feb./Mar. at the last minute due to becoming GRANDPARENTS! YAY!

We will be there Feb. 25 - Mar.6th and we are staying at the All Star Music.
I can't wait!

Great looking plans so far :) We LOVE Kona for dinner!

I see you are also from MI! Where abouts? We are from Midland area but I was born and raised in Detroit (then my parents retired "up north").

That is AWESOME!! Yeah, I'd be doing a major happy dance!!! :cool1:

Detroit born, raised in St Clair Shores, now living out in the cornfields of St Clair County. I miss the city but there's something to be said for raising the kids in a small town, so here I'll stay at least until the 2yo graduates from high school. Then we're going to do just the opposite of your parents and find ourselves a loft downtown and retire to the city. :goodvibes

That's awesome Karen.
I'm going to have to call...I can't stand the waiting to see if I have a PIN code!

We just booked at the Port Orleans French Quarter for Feb. 28 - March 10th.

10 Nights!! :woohoo:

We are bringing my then-17-month-old son, Henry. I can't wait, he's going to love WDW.

Last time I was there I was pregnant and missed out on a lot of rides, so I have a lot of catching up to do!

I plan to do my first trip report with this vacation, too. I want to start now!

You can always do a PTR!

Booked my family trip for March:

Arrive Friday March 18
Depart Sunday March 27
Resort: CBR
DDP
Park Hopper

I received a pin that saved us $700 for the stay. Unless they come out with a 4/3 deal or free dining during our trip, this should be our plans.

Last trip: March 2009 Poly :yay::yay::yay:

Dude, how are you guys getting all these PINs? Is it because I have already booked, that' why they aren't sending me anything? Because they know I am comming anyway?

I think it's pretty random with the PIN's. The last time I got one was this summer and I'm hoping to get another one or for Disney to announce some deals for our time frame!

If you already booked you can still get a PIN as far as I know though!
