BUT! i woke up this morning feeling TERRIBELE!!:sad1: im praying that it is nothing serious and whatever it is GOES AWAY before i leave!

I hope you feel better! I'm getting ready to take DD12 to the doctor--fever, cough, aches. Bleah. Normally we'd probably wait it out, but if it's something that needs treatment I wanna get her started right away!

Pulled out the hand sanitizer and am upping my Vitamin C intake as well. Hope no one else gets it! Trying not to touch my eyes/nose/etc. since that's where those bad germs would get in...ever notice how much you want to do something when you're not supposed to? I swear my whole face is ITCHING!! LOL

Ugh... we're scheduled to leave on Thursday and I am PRAYING we avoid all the sickness that seems to be making the rounds..... pixie dust, pixie dust.....

Just back last night from a week stay. I definitely recommend having a couple of sweatshirts or some kind of jacket for mornings and evenings. Weather was good except for 2 days. Thursday March 11- it started raining in the afternoon and didn't stop until Saturday morning. The cast members said it was very unusual weather they have been having all season. But, the lines were awesome b/c of the rain those days.

We started out with HS on arrival day after a quick swim at the rsort and saw Beauty and the Beast, the Tower of Terror, Muppets 3D and then saw F! at 7:30. Great show. TOT- DD4 did not like, way to scary for her. Monday and Tuesday we went to MK and got there at Rope Drop both days. We were the 1st to ride Dumbo! Wednesday we went to AK. The safari ride was great, we were super close to a baby giraffe. We also enjoyed the Nemo show and did not really like the Festival of the Lion King show. EE was fun, our DD7 loved it. Thursday we rode just about everything at EP-FW and left the park around 6 pm to dry out. That included riding Soarin 2 times. We were able to get a break in the weather to ride Test Track as well. It got extremely windy and rainy on Friday. We went to HS which was a good place to go for rain. We did TSM 2 times and ended up giving away FP's for it as we left. The weather got way too windy and rainy and we were ready to go. The weather broke enough for us to see Lights, Motors Action early show as well. It was definitely worth seeing. Also, RNR was awesome. DD7 was speechless after riding her first roller coaster with loops. Then the weather was great for our last 2 days and we put away the ponchos, so happy we packed them. Saturday we went to World Showcase at EP and also snuck in a ride on Test Track. Our last day we packed, checked out and spent the day at the resort pool until we caught DME at 5:15.

We did so much getting to the parks at rope drop. I definitely recommend it. Sometimes we took a afternoon break to go to the resort to swim and back to the parks to see fireworks and other days we hung in until 6 or 7 and retired to our resort. We just went with however we were feeling. Also, we ended up having to rent a stroller for most of our trip for our 4 year old. Her little legs just couldn't keep up. But it was well worth the cost to rent them there.

We had a great time!

Seems like fate tries to put a wrench in my trip at every chance it gets! First my husband's work almost made him cancel his vacation.. now he is working basically 24 hours a day with only a few hours to sleep because of a work crisis...thats not usual! Then I pulled my neck out and ended up getting an MRI, then I had a gall bladder attack...then it flooded everywhere because we have rainstorms washing away everything... My kids are being super needy so I can't pack... :worship:So, the kids have been relatively healthy alllll winter.... they only have to make it one more school week! No sickness! boooooo sickness! Can't wait to get to a happy place and see lots of party: and no more of :laundy:
5 days!

3 days!!!! I cannot wait.... I am taking one of my best friends with me who has not been there since he was little..... :cheer2::grouphug: We leave for the airport at 5:30AM......

It will be good to get out of here.... It has rained like crazy and I got over 5 inches of water in my basement which is finally drying out..... On top of that my 15 year old neice and my sister got that awful bug.... Thank god I have not been near them cause I cannot afford to get sick.... I had a kidney transplant 20 years ago March 22nd and I basically have no immune system and can get really sick if I get any cold or virus....

Got home in the wee hours of Sunday morning -- was supposed to land at 5:30 and didn't land until 4am due to the storms in NJ. We had a great week. It was very chilly our first day (Sat 3/6) but then warmed up enough to swim the rest of the week......until Thursday when it started pouring in buckets straight through Friday night. Of course, Saturday, the day we had to leave, the weather was spectacular.

Definitely bring a light jacket for night. Most of the evenings were quite cool.

Have a wonderful time!!!

Aww, this time Wednesday I will be at the Happiest Place on Earth! I did my online gardengrocer order and all I have left to do is wait.....

Are you staying in an All Star Suite that has a kitchen? Or do you order something else from garden grocer that you can prepare in a hotel room?:confused3

I know the extended forecast isn't that accurate and probably will change 60 times between now and the 27th, but the day we leave, the 27th is forecast to rain in Orlando (but we won't be there yet) the next two days said high of 81, but that was in the extended forecast view. If you clicked on the week, then clicked next 5 days and then next 5 days, it shows a high in the low 70's? :confused3 I have no idea WHY? the difference... its the same webpage on accuweater.com

I'm starting to put stuff aside. We're probably going to book an extra night at maybe a value or moderate for the day we check out of our SSR villa. Where I really would like to stay is at the Poly! But its probably not worth it for 1 night unless there is a 1 night special.

Just back last night from a week stay. I definitely recommend having a couple of sweatshirts or some kind of jacket for mornings and evenings.

Thanks for the update and the tips!! I was hoping some fellow March-goers would come back to visit and offer suggestions! :yay:

I am so glad that you had a great time! I cannot wait to be there and immerse myself in the magic!! :wizard:

For all you March-goers that are sick :sick: try taking airborne. I hear it does wonders! Wash hands a million times a day, load up on vitamin C, and when you aren't working, packing, DISing, or thinking of the million things that need to be done before you leave, make sure you get lots of rest  I know much easier said then done! :confused3

Just got back last night from our trip. A ton of rain on Thursday and Friday kept a lot of people out of the parks, but it wasn't fun sloshing around in the rain.

This is the second year in a row that we've traveled down there on the same weekend in March, and I have to say we won't be doing that again. Too many school groups, cheer and dance teams, etc.
