Back from Disney! After 10 hours in the airport yesterday we are back in Detroit...definitely not the happiest place on earth but the snow's gone, so that's a plus.

Back from our trip. Crowds were awesome. TSM was out of FPs by 11am on Feb 28th but that was because it was ESPN weekend. After that we saw FPs available in the afternoon. We used some FPs but really did not need them as the waits would have only been about 20 minutes.

They guys enjoyed ESPN weekend. The highlight for me was seeing Tedi Bruschi. He was helping people with their golf swings at a booth. I did not get to meet him but he seemed to enjoy it and he is just so good looking with a nice smile. I enjoyed seeing Curt Shilling too. He was wearing his 2004 World Series jacket.

Weather was not too bad for us. Remember we are from Maine so our opinions may not be the same as others. We wore t-shirts and short/capris on Sat Feb 27th-Tues Mar 2nd. Tues was overcast and very windy but it was humid enough to keep it warm. Tues night through Thursday we did need our sweat shirts and needed pants some of the time. Very windy!! The guys did swim in the quiet pool one day. Friday was warm again and we left on Sat to head to Ft Myers for 3 nights. We had the best weather at Ft Myers and even felt too warm at the Red Sox games. We came home on Tue Mar 9th and I think it was going to be a bit cooler and rainy for a few days.

We will definitely go this time of the year again and will definitely go see the Red Sox spring training again.

8 more hours and we are on our way!! I'm soooo excited and the kids are jumping up and down screaming! lol...I can't wait..have a great week everyone!!

8 DAYS! Sunscreen bought, photopass registered, ride to airport secure, neck pain resolving...now to find time to pack. lol

Just wanted to say, we got into Orlando around 10:30 this morning. The weather is georgeous! Our car said the outside temp was around 76! We didn't go to any of the parks today, but dh kept checking wait times on an Iphone app and they really weren't too bad at all today!
We are going to Magic Kingdom in the Am!!

Any body worried about the crowd levels??

We are going from Mar 27th to Apr 3rd and the crowd levels have gone from levels 6 and 7 to levels 9 and 10!

But yet, all the Value hotels are available (we are staying offsite, seven free nights thanks to points) and several ADRs are available...not CRT, CM, or anything like that, but I think I was able to get good ADRs such as CP, CR, Akershus, etc.

So should we be worried? Switch to on property??

I'm worried now. I have been during the week before Easter before and it was fine, even at EPCOT... but I never had known about the crowd calendar until this trip... so now I'm very worried. It was REALLY bad with crowds in mid July. However, I think the Bazillion Brazillion tour groups was worse than anything else. We left Planet Hollywood without ordering dessert because the tour group kids were upstairs and they were stamping their feet and chanting so loud we couldn't have a conversation!

Oh well, we have to make the best of it because we have 3 boys in their senior year of HS and we obviously couldn't take them out of school and after graduation would be impossible with summer jobs and getting ready for college... so this is it!

We leave in two weeks from right now I am trying to get all my Easter stuff done this weekend and start on packing.

We leave the same day - are you flying are driving? We are driving.

We are also driving!

There will be 2 Mindy's and a Wendy driving down in 2 weeks!! We're leaving on Saturday in the morning and arriving by lunch time on Sunday. We've overnighting in Kingsland GA at the Country Inn & Suites. I have a silver mini-van with a Disneyfiles bumper sticker (among others) and a magnetic stitch. I think I'll also get some wide tip glass markers at Michael's to write on my back window like I did last time. Last time I wrote Dis on Board and Disney or Bust! Are you both leaving on Saturday too?

This time next week we'll be getting ready to see the Hoop De Doo Revue!

Found my DD12 a bunch of Disney shirts in the Jrs. clearance section at Walmart for $1.50 and $3.00. So, she'll be sporting a whole new wardrobe at WDW! The rest of the family only has the Disney Polos and Disney TShirts we bought for our last trip. (Can't believe the kids' shirts still fit--just shows how big some stuff at Disney online runs. LOL) I forgot to order stuff this time around, I guess we'll survive.

Now, to work on touring plans and trying to figure out which parks to use our GAD fastpasses at!

Woo Hoo!!!!!! We will be in Disney 1 week from tomorrow . I think I have everything I need for the trip, however, DH has yet to pull out the clothes that he is going to be wearing so I know I will be going out shopping with him this weekend. He starts his vacation on Friday so I am hoping we could at least do that while the girls are in school, who knows, knowing him he will be waiting until Monday to pack.
