I need to pack for 6 people too--but I have to do it secretly as the 4 kids think we're headed north to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Spring Break.

How long will it take them to tell you you're driving the wrong way??

11 days til we leave! I want to know how they figure the crowd calendar. Where is there data coming from that it changes so close to the trip?

We've been during the week prior to Easter several times. In 08 I didn't seem to think the crowds were bad. I can't compare to the crowd calendar though because I didn't know about it til this month. Sometimes the week prior to Easter is in March, sometimes in April and I wonder if that has an effect on the crowds and weather?

No suitcases out yet. I started stacking things in the living room. I've got a bin of beach towels (I know they provide, but I like mine), goggles, life jacket (I know they provide, but my child likes hers), I started putting some food items in grocery bags. Cookies mostly! lol I'm bringing beer and wine. Party in my villa!!

We went the week prior to Easter in 2007. The crowd calendar was all 9's and a few 8's. I didn't think it was bad at all, we never waited long and saw everything we wanted. So, bring it on, we're not scared! (Hopefully that doesn't anger the crowd gods.) LOL

We just got back late last night and it was our first time going this time of year and I can say we will never do it again. I swear we ran into more miserable people then happy ones. There was a ton of younger adults who could very obviously not hold their liquor nor could they tell when to stop. It was just DH and I, we were there for our 10th wedding anniversary and I am 31 and DH is 35 and we felt ancient walking around the boardwalk one night after dinner at Yachtsmans. One couple almost knocked me over. We are normally there over Christmas with the kids and when we go our lowest crowd level is normally a 9 and we are much happier then because the people are much happier.

Now we did have a great time just being together but we spent a lot of time outside of the parks.

We did not notice any miserable people. But the guys said that they noticed a lot of intoxicated people in Epcot one night.

Just got back last night from our trip. A ton of rain on Thursday and Friday kept a lot of people out of the parks, but it wasn't fun sloshing around in the rain.

This is the second year in a row that we've traveled down there on the same weekend in March, and I have to say we won't be doing that again. Too many school groups, cheer and dance teams, etc.

I would like to add my 2 cents. check my profile for a short report. I was there march 5-14, 2 days of rain with ponchos at epcot and MK indoor rides. Barley got wet. Not bad all other days sunshine,swimming, just cool at night. I found no tour groups bothersome until sat the 13th right before we left...

10- 20 min wait last week I would so go again. now the 14th too many teens and cheerleaders. the crowds picked up then.

4 days to go! The lead up to this trip has been so strange... I sprained my ankle a month ago, spent a week completely off of it, then 3 weeks on crutches with an aircast and now crutch-free but still limping a little. This was the first time ever I've wanted to slow time down leading up to a trip instead of speeding it up. I just really hope the ankle can hold up for the whole trip

We are here now and it's CHILLY! Accuweather says 70, but I think they are full of hooey...it's 49 right now and never got above 61 or so yesterday. I have a lighter sweater and wrap with jeans and I could use something a titch warmer. If it rains, I'm in trouble! Just thought I'd let everyone know, it seems like the forecast is a BIT off!

I hope 10 days is enough to warm up. I've been dreaming about laying by the pool in my 2 piece with a pina colada in my hand for months!! Please please... warm up!!
