Any other Texas families doing any of the Grand/Magical Gathering events? We'll be there from June 7th-15th. We're going to order our GG shirts soon - The Disney Freaks from Texas. We're doing the Safari Celebration Dinner, the Epcot IllumiNation Dinner/Dessert, and the MK Fireworks voyage.

We're not doing any of them this time - please post reviews when you get back so we can maybe do them the next trip..... Have fun! We'll have to look for you w/ your shirts on - will you have them on just at the GG or at the park also????

I knew we were going in June but until about 2 weeks ago or so, I didn't know for sure when. I finally made offical reservations! We will be at Pop June 13th and leave the 21st. We are driving from PA so we will probably start out some time on the 11th.

Yeah! Welcome to the group - you'll be there the exact same days as us! Maybe we'll run into each other - you just never know! We'll have our lime green Mickey head from Home Depot.....

Wow! It looks like mid-June is the time for all of us Texans to go to WDW!! If I see any GG shirts or LGMH's, I will say "hello." I got our LGMH's a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what we are going to do with them yet. My DH does not want to decorate the window; he's such a fuddy-duddy. Is that word still usable today?

What exactly does LGMH refer to/mean??

Lime Green Mickey Head's. If you go to Home Depot, you will see that the Disney paint color chips are displayed in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head. Lime green is the DIS color and DISers pick up these color chips from Home Depot and display them on their windows and doors at WDW.

I wonder how many people who have no clue about the DIS see these doors and windows and wonder what in the heck it is supposed to signify! It's like a secret society!

I'm going to make little bag tags w/ our LGMHs, maybe put them on my camera strap or make id tags for the kids out of them..... I'd be so excited to actually run into another Disboard member while there! I always look, but have never seen anyone sporting them....

We finally got our maps from Disney today Now I know June is getting closer. Had to wait until March 25 before I could order them due to the 6 month rule.

I just love those maps! They are so much fun to look at. The kids really love them and I just love "planning" out our days with them - though this changes everytime we look at them.

The days have really been passing quickly for me. What about you? I can't wait until we receive our papers in the mail with all of our information. That is when it will feel close to me! Let's keep our fingers crossed that the weather will be perfect during our stay and that the crowds will be bearable! I know, that's stretching it a bit, but one can hope!

Since we are buying a DVC through resale I will be buying AP's when we get there in June. DH thinks I'm crazy and DD thinks I'm cool,we're planning on at least 2 more trips to get the most out of our AP's

DH thinks I'm crazy and DD thinks I'm cool,we're planning on at least 2 more trips to get the most out of our AP's

Congrats on leaving a day early I would compare the prices and see which will be the least expensive, then go from there.

I wish that we have to leave a day earlier than we had originally planned! Where are you staying for your other days at WDW? Maybe you could do a Downtown Disney stay and spend your day around that area.

DD woke up this morning looked at her calendar and said 9 weeks before we leave. Guess we're in the single digits for weeks before we leave
Actually its 62 more days, but I'll let her do the weeks makes her think June is getting here faster!
