Official JUNE 2008

To me it really isn't that crowded. It does get hot, but it is about that hot here where I live, so I am used to it. Going in and out of the rides won't be that bad, because you will wait in line in the shade most of the time. I guess we are so busy I don't have time to notice the heat and I DON'T like heat at all. We do take a mid-day break probably around 12-1pm, since we will have an 8:15am breakfast and get to the park shortly after opening. We will probably have lunch at Pop and I will take my cousin to the pool for a little while, so mom can nap. We will probably take a catnap and head back to the park about 4pm and stay until close to 2am on Sunday(Monday) morning, since it is my birthday, I have park choice. We did that last year and practically had the park to ourselves from early evening. Most locals have gone home, so they can go to work on Monday.

We may take my cousin to DHS on Saturday afternoon, depending on what time we arrive Saturday. I want to go to the outlets and DTD. Sunday is MK day and Monday we go to Epcot and BW, then home on Tuesday after a little resort hopping.

Thanks for the input!! I am glad to hear that you feel like the crowds aren't that bad!! We have had a chillier Spring here in Cincy than normal, so unless it heats up quickly, we are going to feel like we are roasting I'm sure!! When we were there in November though, they had an abnormal heat wave for them, and it got HOT!! But we endured, and just kept going! We were quite surprised by the heat--but then again, so were the Floridians! Happy Birthday in ADVANCE!!!! What a great way to spend a birthday!

Also I think by going in early June, lots of places are still in school so they wont really be doing family vacations. It will probably be less crowded than later on in June or July.

Thanks for the input!!! I realize a LOT of schools are still in session until mid-late June, so maybe we will beat a little of the summer rush! Thanks for the advice!

A lil more specail...Did you forget where he is going to be on Father's day...DISNEY WORLD. Hello that is pretty darn special. LOL
The kids bought their dad a new beach towel for the trip and I made us all semi matching shirts. They are all red with Mr Incredible on them. DH's Says Most Incredible dad, then the kids are both wearing one that says I have the most incredible dad, and I am wearing one that says I have an incredible husband. they are so cute. Were given him all that early Father's day morning before we hit the park. I know it is a lil corny but oh well. It is not much but this year we didn't allow each other to do much for Mother's / Father's day as we are putting money back for WDW, and were going to Nashville too. It is a busy month for us...and a $$$$$ one too.

Heck yes that's enough - at least for me!:lmao: This is also going to be a costly month for us as well, but I don't mind spending it at WDW!!!!!

Your shirts sound so cute! I will definitely be on the lookout for all of y'all! I finally thought of a gift to give DH for Father's Day. It's a tool that will have to be given and left prior to our trip.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, being at WDW makes turning 35 ALOT easier, since I will be distracted by all the fun and fuss.

We haven't been too hot here yet, although I did get over heated Saturday morning at the yard sale I was having, but I was sitting in direct sunlight and have been sick, so that didn't help. I think I heard it was going to be 90 today, but it didn't feel like it when I left for work at 2:30pm :confused3

The weather was nice in December, much nicer than the prior December, when we just about froze to death.

We always get sick at WDW. I can imagine how many germs are there. So I start eating a yogurt every day before we go about a month out and giving one to DD and DH also. One year we had a stomah virus so bad and it was yuck! (yes there was vomiting involved....ew) DD always gets a fever of some sort and unkown origin but hopefully we can make it thru this year without any serious ailment.

Been there, done that - hopefully not this trip! Soooo not fun to be puking in the bushes at AK - had to suck it up for the team, though..... :) I think we picked it up at one of the Visitor Centers (the one coming into Florida has the kids' play area) and it hit my oldest dd while I was checking in and went through every one of us on a different day..... no more kids' play area for us!!! We're going to try the yogurt thing this year - anything to help! Here's to a illness-free trip!!!!

Exactly 3 weeks from now I will be freaking out with my packing last minute items :lmao: It seems like it has taken forever to get here! I need a vacation to recharge my battery for work. Boss said he can tell I've been stress out lately. I work where we get extremely busy during the spring and summer, it started in March and hasn't let up yet. I need this vacation ;)

I will be freaking out, too!!!! My 2-yr old ds told gramma the other day that "Mommy in a panic" b/c I was chatting w/ the kids about everything I needed to get done for WDW and that I was about to panic..... my busy time at work is almost over - I'm going to try to finish up this week-end so I have a full week to concentrate on DISNEY stuff!!!!!

Too cute!!!! We arrive at WDW on Father's Day to have breakfast with the mouse at Chef Mickey's at 10:40AM! We have always gotten my DH a special father's day shirt since he became a dad nine years ago so it's become a tradition. This year I'm having a shirt embroidered with Best Disney Dad! and the kids' names. I'll be sure to look for your shirts! We are heading over to Epcot after breakfast to spend the day there! We're staying at ASM's. Stop by and sign our door sign if you get a chance! Have a great trip!!!:thumbsup2

Unfortunately I can not take credit for the shirts...Well other than I printed them off and cut them out and ironed them on the shirts. Oh and I had to go to Walmart and buy the red shirts and the iron on trasfers...lol.
Here is the link to the Father's day shirts...

You surely will find something you like. I also printed off a picture of Buzz Lightyear and his dad playing ball that says something about hanging with my day father's day 2008...anyway, it has a lime green line through it so I am going to use that in my lime green crazy father's day window.

:woohoo: We'll be there! June 22 - July 2. We'll be staying off site this year which is a bit sad, but it allows us a longer stay. And we'll be celebrating my DS 7th B-Day! I can't wait.:wizard:

hey.we're going June 19th-July 3 and staying off site too. where are you gonna be staying angiepangie?

You are so lucky, my busy time at work just started :worried: I haven't had a day off since the May 18th. I had to do a lot of talking to get off for our trip. I have packed suitcases, unpacked suitcases and repacked suitcases and if the weather changes here again I'll be unpacking again :faint: Told DD we have 18 more days and we leave :woohoo:

WOOHOO

I get to make two more ADR's for June! I just made a grid and totaled up my TS ADR's and I have two days of TS open. A couple days we're paying OOP for things (Hoop-De-Doo and CRT). One of those TS credits is going to be taken up by easting at Ca. Grill (2 TS pp), but I forgot that our check out day, we get a TS credit too! We're leaving at 11:00am, so we can use that TS earlier in the week.

Hmm..more planning to do! :cool1:

Oh..and a question. Has anyone done a Wishes Firework's cruise? I'm surprising my wife with one on the 19th. I'm wondering about eating at Narcoossee's that evening as an excuse to get her to the GF, which is where the cruise leaves from at 9:00pm. What time should I try for an ADR in order for us to have plenty of time to enjoy the meal? 7:00?

Thanks!

While you can make adr's for your last day ...Make sure you do know that you only get 1 TS 1 CS & 1 Snack per person per night you stay in the resort...it is not based on the # of days in the parks. Just did not want you to mis understand and be in for a shock later!

OOOOOhhhhhhh!! Thank you so much! Yes, that makes a huge difference. I was counting it per DAY, not per night.

Bummer. Hmm..now we may not have enough credits! :rotfl:
