Official JUNE 2008

Looking for a photo of the LGMH. I KNOW I've seen it someplace on these forums, but cannot locate it. I COULD just scan it myself, but would rather take the lazy way out. Can anyone help?

Thanks

PS: Why does this site not have the Disney Script font? I have it on my computer, but it would not work when I tried to cut & paste to here.

Here is a link to a thread that has a LGMH on someone's backpack.

I don't have a laminating machine and I don't have access to one so I have no idea what to do with my LGMHs.:confused3 What is everyone else doing? I would love some great tips for those that will be on our backpacks!

I have never thought of putting one on your door for people to write messages. Does anyone ever write anything "off topic" that I would not want my 7 yr old to see when we get back to the room I wonder?:confused3

You are welcome! I've been compulsively checking it every day. :rotfl2:

I will be doing the same, especially when it gets closer to the time when we are heading out. We have 19 days until we leave, so I have to wait another four days until I can see what the weather will be like! :headache: I just hope that the weather is as good as it has been lately (and for the next 15 days). The Weather Channel just isn't fast enough for me!

I am *this close* to the single digit dance! Woohoo!

We have been slaving away making customs for DD to wear. Yeah, I am one of those moms! :rotfl: But DD is looking forward to it and I am scared to death we will not get them all done in time!

My daughter's friend has never been. When we take a newbie, it's super exciting. I love their enthusiasm.

We are taking my niece, she is 12, will turn 13 on our trip(June 21st). She has only been to Disney twice but hasn't been in the last 2 years. What better way to spend your birthday than with Mickey:goodvibes I am super excited to be taking her with me this time and we are leaving Mama home lol. She isn't a disney person AT ALL:faint: Her idea of Disney is Its a Small world and lets go back to the villa. Personally that ride just isn't my cup of tea but I have to ride it at least once. I don't have kids so taking her with me is such a treat.

I hope your daughters friend has a great time:yay: -seeing disney through the eyes of a newbie is so exciting, we got to experience this last year with someone else who hadn't been. We go every summer and it just never gets old. I am just as excited this time as the first time I ever went to Disney when I was 14 years old.

Well i'm still wishing June would hurry up already:rotfl:

Here is some pixie dust to help you get them done:goodvibes pixiedust:

Have a great trip!!

We have 15 days to go until we feel the sun:sunny:

Watching our local weather this morning. We are going to wake up to below freezing temps of 30 degrees. :scared1:

We live on Lake Huron and with the cold weather we've had this spring, the waters are going to take a long time to get warm to swim. Our kids are looking forward to using SAB at the YC for the 1st time.

:cheer2: We also have 15 more days until we head to the YC...your kids will love SAB! I am anxious to start packing but we have a small trip for a hockey tournament this weekend so it may still be too early to pack! Or is it?

Never too early to pack. I dont have all my stuff in the suitcase yet but I have a list and I am slowly getting stuff together and laying it in a pile for the suitcase.

We want to do BC next year so DD can play at SAB. I have a friend who stayed there and she said it was great!

This time two weeks from today I will be in ORLANDO!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:    Hopefully on the Magical Expresss bus on it's way to The Polynesian!!!

pixiedust - good luck this weekend. My DS9 plays on a travel squirt hockey team. We will start back up around the end of June. That's a tough thing to pack for, warm outside for your time of the year, but cool in the rink.

:yay:

:yay: :yay: 18 more days left!!! :yay: :yay:

Alright, I have begun packing stuff - mine and DH's stuff that is. I have laid some clothes to side for DS, but I have yet to start of both DD's things. I wonder how many clothes they are are going to want to take!

I still have not come up with anything for Father's Day yet. I am still racking my brain on that. DD already made him a card and I slipped that into the suitcase so that I wouldn't forget to bring it with us. I will probably have the other two make him a card and then I will bring one from me.

One question for everyone. I have been looking over the restaurant/food threads for quite some while now and noticed that several people said that WDW's chicken nuggets/strips/tender are different. Does anyone know anything about this? Do they vary from one place to another?

Amy - this will be our 2nd time being their for Father's Day and the kids pick out a t-shirt for their dad to wear. In 06 when he was taking a shower the kids got out their t-shirt that said "Greatest Dad" that they got at Old Navy. DH was very surprised!!!

They have bought another t-shirt and plan on doing the same thing. Good Luck!

What a cute idea! I wish DH would go for that. I think that I will just have to buy him a new metal ladder and give it to him the Friday before Father's Day. I know that he would like one of those! I just wanted to make his Father's Day a little more special.
