Happy Monday everyone!

my countdown is now 52 days! it'll be 8 weeks on thursday.. wow!! i started counting at 184 days when we booked, so it seems incredible how close it's getting now!

FYI, if your countdown is 52 days, then it'll be 7 weeks on thursday!! That wounds even better!! And if you think 184 is far out, we booked our trip in March of LAST YEAR! That's like over 400 days! I can't believe it's almost here!

I booked last fall!! I already feel like I'm behind because we are thinking about coming in January 2010 or next Spring for the Flower & Garden show and we haven't booked yet! So many Dis'ers have two count-down timers. I feel like I need to wrap up those 2010 plans. My sis wants to run the Marathon in January, but I don't think I'll be ready for that much running by then. I LOVE Flower & Garden. I'll have to see how many points I have left after this trip (we borrowed some from next use year). It would be GREAT if we could afford 2 trips in 2010 like we did in 2007 and 2008!!

Oh... well.... that figures. I guess then Flower & Garden wins out!! I need to find out the dates for Spring Break in 2010 from our school district. That would make it easier with school, although more crowded at The World. My DD21 wanted to come. That means that DD7 would have to miss school because their Spring Breaks never coincide. DS17 can't miss with all his AP classes. He's on the same schedule as DS7. It can get complicated.

I think we're gonna pay off a big chunk of our trip this week!!!

DW got her stipend check yesterday. She gets "paid" for being an officer (and working her booty off) for her district's teachers' union.

I complain when she has to work late, but the check she just got will pay for our room and tickets!! No more complaining (for awhile).

Very excited here .. first time staying at WL, July 26-Aug. 2. Could only do it with the 4/3 deal.

Our last Disney trip was in 2003 at the Dolphin, then HRH in 2001 .. that would be 9/11 ... bad trip, needless to say. We were in line to get on the Snow White ride when we got word the twin towers were hit. Had to evacuate the park. Also had to drive back to Jersey since flight was cancelled. So this is a really special trip for us. Our DDs (10 &3) will be able to see where there parents got engaged (outside of Japan in Epcot), and will be DD3's first trip to Disney.
