Am nervous about staying off-site (Windsor Hills) and the HEAT!

Just keep drinking lots of water or gatorade like beverages. Use a water sprintzer fan thingie. They sell them all over the parks if you don't already have one. It'll be super humid. Just plan to sweat. Wear sleeveless or tank tops and shorts. Crocs are great for the parks.

Just curious. With DD's birthday during your trip, do you have to pay the 10 and up price for your tickets or can you get away with the 3-9 child's ticket one last time?

You're not missing anything with the dining plan. Where you really make out is with the kids meals. However, eating that much food is just not how we normally eat, so we discovered that without the meal plan, we spent about the same, but we bought less food. We weren't any hungry. We just got less food for the same price. We saved all our receipts and added it up. we found we spend nearly exactly what we would have with the dining plan. We however, probably saved ourselves from gaining 5 pounds.

We really enjoyed our meal at Rose & Crown. What time is your ADR? We had around 7:20pm and we were being served dessert right about the time that the fireworks show was starting on World Showcase Lagoon. We had an outdoor table right near the lagoon. Excellent viewing. I recommend that if your reservations will have you there about that time, ask for an outdoor table facing the lagoon. You won't be sorry. H&V I've only done at dinner time. Never did the BBQ or CRT. Enjoy!

From July 6 on there will only be a buffet dinner, no a la carte!

We are going July 23rd thru August 1st. We are camping at FW. This is our first July trip. We have been twice in September. I'm a little nervous about the heat and the crowds.

Here are my ADR's.

Cape May Cafe Dinner
Cinderella Breakfast (this is our first trip to the castle)
Crystal Palace Dinner
Rainforest Cafe, at AK (first time here)
Akershus Dinner ( have to see those princess)
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Dinner Package

If anybody has any July tips, I would love to hear them.

Hi Ho.. we are going the same time you are..July 24-8/1 ... I am the one with the teens so I doubt anyone will see them until later in the day. or before night fall..

remember the parks are open late so you can get away from the heat either by a/c or pool or both..

Hello from my MIL house. The news it not good. It looks like at best we will only have her for a few months. The good news is she seems to be a peace with this and is fully prepared to make the best of what ever time she has left. I am very happy to have this time to visit and to let her know that she is loved. That being said I will make sure that she knows that it is OK for her to go and that we will be OK.

Welcome to the newcomers. Hopefully next weekend I will have a chance to go back and up date the Who's going list.

According to Disney Dining, the food at the buffet will be similar to the menu: Greek & Italian salads, flatbreads, pastas, etc.
