Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

I love it when Sylar provides the comic relief..."I'm not a serial killer...okay, technically, I'm a serial killer..."

I cracked up when he turned on the radio and "Psycho Killer" was playing.

I wonder if we'll ever find out how Sylar survived the explosion. I mean, I'm glad he's still around, but I'm still curious...

The Hiro/Ando storyline was awfully strange. If Hiro is right, "destiny" wanted him to travel all the way to India to find out that you can be a hero without powers. O-kay.

You know who I miss? Micah. And Niki. And...whatever Micah's father's name was. I loved watching that little family. Sorry, that was random. :-)

I miss Micah & his parents. I wish they would all come back.

I haven't been watching as much this season as I have in the past, but what little I've seen?...I am taking a SERIOUS dislike to Nathan.

agnes!
PS - I've been watching "24" mostly...

Yeah, Nathan is about ready to get a swift kick, and from more than 1 direction. Claire, HRG (for dragging him back in), Hunter, Tracy, Peter & company... WOW! Though it is his future character in season 1 as the president that Sylar got, isn't it?

Next week is a story line along Company men, should be interesting.

I do think sending Hiro & Ando to India was out there. How are they avoiding being picked up trying to get out of, let alone back into the country? Even if Ando got the tickets, They still need ID to get through security checkpoints. <Sigh> Yes I know. it is in the script.

And then to send him back to "Save Matt Parkman" as the fax from Rebel said... :sad2: why not do it here? Just to add women to the show? Pat on the back for a country going into Heroes? Strange to say the least.

I am still hopeing Rebel is someway Micah. OR Micah and Angela? Hmmm... opinions?

I'm wondering if Nathan is somehow being "controlled". Otherwise, some of his actions don't make sense. It's almost like he thwarts his own attempts at doing just abotu everything. Think Daddy Petrelli might still be alive & pulling the strings? (Remember, they didn't shoot him in the back of the head & with Adam's power, they should have needed to....)

About "Rebel" - anyone remember that Hana Gitelman, or "Samantha," the one who could talk "through" computers, send emails and the like without actually using a computer? I'm trying to remember exactly what happened to her...I think she was supposed to have died in the future, but since it appears that that's all changed... :confused3

Just a thought.

Any opinions on last nights show?

Did you like this as well as Company Man, the other HRG story of when they got Clair?

Mohinder? Did he do the right thing after HRG talked with him in the cab? How about at the end?

And your opinion on what HRG is really doing?

I actually think I liked fall season better than this season. I think what made Heroes so enjoyable is the blending of humor, creepy, romance, action and hidden surprises. I don't see as much of that any more. I do believe that HRG had some control over what Matt was allowed to find. Especially since everything worked to break down the trio. I will be curious to see where they continue to take this and how everyone survives this with the hunter's idea to kill everyone.

Does anyone else think the guy working for Nathan (have no clue of his name! short guy, white hair) has secret powers? I just get that feeling. :confused3

Exactly! I am not getting this season at all. Why is Nathan doing this? He obviously knows that not everyone with powers is bad. They have control of their powers, and would never use them to hurt people. Nathan makes me angry.

I love the whole mystery of Mama Petrelli now. I hope she is going to help the heroes, and crush Nathan.

I think I liked last season better as well. I'm starting to lose interest. The story line is, I don't know, just not as engaging as it used to be. It seems like the show keeps trying to "find itself" :confused3

I though last nights episode was the most boring one EVER. Blah, Blah blah, nothing we didn't know except for Daphne being alive, which was no suprise! My husband actually fell asleep, and I wanted to- Yes, we know HCG and Nathan are rounding up people! MOVE ON. HCG has a storage locker with guns? Who cares! HCG is working with Angela? Ditto. I love the Syler stories this season, but other than that I am almost too bored to watch.

In the 1st season, it showed Nathan as president in the future, and no one knew he had powers until he flew off to confront Peter. The Heroes had all hidden themselves & lived as normal people.

After seeing last night, it seems they are trying to redo S1 again, with different people but same story line. Matt kidnapping HRG instead of the reverse, the picture on the floor loft doen by Matt instead of Issac and Matt being the bad guy going to blow it up instead of Peter. Still good, but not original.

I was doing a head-bob from about halfway until the end. I couldn't stay awake at all. Extremely disappointed. We are also losing interest.

You know what bugs me about heroes lately? They don't stay true to the characters, ever. Every season they put them in different situations and it's the situations that drive this show more than the characters...The motivation just doesn't ring true for everything they are all doing. First season I way prefered it to Lost and thought it was amazing, now I'm way more into Lost.

Sylar is the only reason to watch the show. Whoever writes the storyline for his part of the show does a bang up job. I love the twisted humor (standing in an elevator, covered in blood while the other passenger tries to pretend all is okay.) The bizarre lines ("I could have been a nobody!"). The showdowns that leave you cheering for him even though he is the villian (Sylar vs. Papa Petrelli/Puppet Master/the rogue military group) Everything else is just BORING!!!

For the most part, there are just too many unexplained holes in the show.
1) How did Sylar survive the explosion?
2) Why does Mohinder have powers?
3) How did Ando and Hiro get to India?
4) How did Matt get the drug in HRG's drink?
5) How did they not know Daphne was alive? They were standing right next to her when it happened. Shouldn't someone have checked while Matt was in the soldiers heads? Did they just run and leave her there? If I was her, I'd be pretty ticked!

:confused3

The writers for Lost are amazing. You do have tons of questions, but eventually they get answered.

I liked the twist they put in this one.

Yeah for Peter and the hug! He is getting a brain this go around.

Why didn't Sylar use some of the powers he picked up? Like the one to know history about what ever or whomever he touched?

Morally grey/gray is so in this season!

And what/who in the heck side is Nathan on?

Think the Hunter is hiding something, liek a power of his own?:confused3
anyone else surprised at Dolan's appearence? CRRRReeepppyyy! and solidifies my opinion on who Rebel is.

Shades of Gray which is Sylars story with his dad next week, a week off and then off we go again.
