**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

I've done it a couple of times over the years, and it's not quite Pamplona.

Maybe not... but I might take my chances with the bulls over TSMM lovers pushing strollers... ;)

Ok... Sounds like I'd still prefer the opening show not stick around, but if it does I'll use some strategery.

Let me qualify my earlier response. After the show, I zagged somewhere else when everyone else zigged towards TSM. So I did not see what it was like between the show and TSM. I always thought the stories of yore (and more recently) were overblown hyperbole. I've done it a couple of times over the years, and it's not quite Pamplona.

I don't know what's wrong with me tonight...but I totally disagree. If you're doing either JTA or TSM first thing (for us, it was JTA) that stupid opening show is THE WORST THING THAT DISNEY HAS DONE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. When people are shoving past kids, trampling each other...there's something wrong with that. A formerly easy, 1-2 minute (literally) process for us turned into this crazy running of the bulls at Wal-Mart on Black Friday.

But yeah...if you weren't going to JTA or TSM, then you probably thought it was fine and cute and entertaining.

First page updated to say FP+ is available Oct and Nov.

I didn't think it was that bad. I guess people really can't wait to get to TSM, and even Olaf becomes evil if he stands in their way.

Heading to Oaken's was no problem either.

So I know I have asked before, but now that it's official....yay!.....is FP really necessary to see the singalong? I have changed our schedule and the 10:25 show will work best for us. I really don't want to lose our FP for ToT, toy story, and star tours. But the singalong is a must do.

This would be on a Thursday in November.

Assuming they keep things as it is now, you will either need a FP+ or a return ticket. At least with a FP+ it saves you an extra trip to the premiere theater.

Apparently not. The announcement refers only to the singalong and Wandering Oaken's.

I was wondering the same thing...about the fireworks...
I am REALLY hoping they extend them.

I'll be there Nov 7...
I'm figuring because of Osborne Lights, they may not.
It sure would be nice!

It's all good, we can have different perceptions of the same thing. I've never seen shoving and trampling here (or anywhere at WDW for that matter), and you have. We all have different experiences. The PP can decide based on all of our inputs, and that's one of the things that makes this place great. :thumbsup2

Any new fireworks "advice" to help finalize my touring plans? When the thread started Min and Bil's tables were crowded in and had people standing in front of you blocking the stage-has this changed or become more manageable with September crowds or should we stick to the plans and stay near 50's PTC. We switched our HS day to see the fireworks so I want to try and find a pretty good spot.....

You can start out by Min and Bill's and then if you feel as if it gets too crowded and your view is blocked, then begin moving towards 50's. The farther you move from your starting area, you will see a decreased number of guests.

We were third in line behind the JTA sign holding CM during the opening show. By the time we got to the signup area, we were probably 30 people back. There was woman who elbowed past us during the opening show so she could inch right up to the rode, and I overheard her say to a friend that was with her that they had planned to be at Epcot that whole day and had been at DHS the day before, but the day before had missed getting a spot at JTA because they were too far back in the crowd, actually watching the opening show, and all the spots were full before her kid got a slot. So they bought hoppers just to do JTA that day so they could still go to Epcot. During the "walk" over, people were running, pushing past other people in the crowd, and generally acting like jerks. Other than during SWW, signups were never like that in the past.

I swapped one of mine out. If you see two old gals belting it out, it is me and my friend! LO!

Is there still a Mickey and Minnie dance party at the hat stage in the evening for September-what times does it run? Thanks!

My SIL was there this past week and had problems with JTA sign ups after the opening show also. She was near the front, but people pushed ahead of her and by the time they got to sign ups they ended up spending nearly 30 minutes in line. Last year when DD and I were there at a similar crowd level it only took us about five minutes to sign up.

OTOH, DD was there this week also, and they went to RnRC first thing. They had no crowd issues at all.

So it sounds like JTA and TSM are the most negatively impacted by the opening show. :headache:

Is near 50's PTC still the best "uncrowded" viewing spot for the Frozen fireworks or is Min and Bil's more ideal with the lower September crowds? I am trying to finalize my touring plans before we leave next weekend and had planned on getting a table near Echo Lake but with all the low crowds I am reading about if we can have seats at Min and Bil's and have a great view of fireworks and the stage-that might be a better plan! :)

We'll be there the weekend after and we changed our plans to add HS because of the Fireworks and Show. I thought though the best views for seeing both and hearing the music was on Hollywood Blvd. Could someone pls correct me if Im wrong. What would be great would be a rundown of the various locales and pluses and minuses for those of us who havent been to HS before. Anyone willing to take that on ? Pretty pls ;)

Where can I find a current list with locations for the Frozen Magic shots and Ausmara app photos available? The first post of the thread mentions the 2 Ausmara-trolls/Sven but I thought there was also an Olaf available now :confused3
