**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Thank you...this thread has been so helpful! I booked the package but am seriously reconsidering. My main reason I may drop it is that my DD4 is allergic to nuts and so I am afraid the dessert party may be more torture than fun...even the fruit is on the table with the nuts so no really "safe" food for her. Has anyone with nut allergy tried the party yet? i did note it on reservation. My other hesitation has been that we MUST do Jedi training academy for DS and I'm so stressed out worrying about when our return time will be and when we need to check in for parade and also our sing a long time! Whew! Too much input! LOL! Especially when you add in regular old FP times! How does the sing along work if you don't have the package? Do you still sign up for a return? Is there less availability? And do you have to wait a very long time in line to get in? I think we would be ok on our own to find a place for parade and fireworks but we MUST do the sing a long! LOL! Any advice for an overwhelmed Mom who is trying to please everyone?

I am in the same boat w you except minus food allergy lol. Too stressful all of this scheduling and times!!

Have you tried contacting them regarding the nut allergy? I know with the wishes dessert party they used to make a special plate of nut free items for someone if they had an allergy.

As long as you go to JTA sign-ups at rope drop, you'll have your choice of sessions. One adult in your party can take your son to sign-ups while the other adult picks up the Sing-Along tickets at Premier Theater.

You could always choose the 6:00 Sing-Along and the 7:10 JTA - this gives you time to get to the JTA check-in after the Sing-Along.

wdwent.com has the schedule for JTA. JTA scheduling doesn't differ from what is posted on wdwent. Just remember you son needs to check-in about 30 minutes before his JTA session.

I went and checked our store today and saw some cute ones! Unfortunately, I needed adult sizes and the largest they had was a little girl's large. For anyone with kiddos, though, there were some super cute ones!!

Yea, most of the XLs (14-16) were sold out--- I did manage to find a few for DW, and a ton of 7/8s for DD, and some cute Olaf ones for DS3!

Ok I read that you can sit at Min and Bills for the fireworks and see the stage show on the Idol screen. Can you also hear the stage show from the screen and the music?

We sat at a picnic table at Min and Bill's last Sunday night. We watched the idol screen for the stage show and had a good view of the fireworks. I'll be adding that part next to my TR with pictures.

That one is a magic shot. Not sure with whom

Thanks. We still are within our 30 day window on the MM so I'll go check it out tomorrow!

Definitely mark the food allergy on your reservation. Also, there is a number to call about food allergies. Be sure to call them and find out how they accommodate at the dessert.

Yes, definitely contact them.

For those that have been with the premium package, I thought it was standing only at the dessert party but I've seen a few posts that mention getting a table. Which is it? TIA

Bar-height tables with no chairs.

So trying to clarify... based on a couple above posts, it seems experience has been one must line up for Premium Dessert Party about one hour ahead to be able to secure a stand up table?

Had kinda hoped that a premium experience wouldn't require a wasted hour in line.

The dessert check in and food start at 830pm.

The dessert check in and food start at 8pm.

Sorry. I must not have been clear. Let me explain again...

In a post above someone said people start lining up about an hour ahead of the actual dessert party, which I understand to run 8:30 to 10:00, so at around 7:30 and that they do so as to be able to secure a table once people are let in, otherwise you risk having to try to share a table with another family (which would be tough for us, we are a party of eight).

I understand that the actual dessert event starts 8:30, but my question really is, if one shows up right at or shortly before 8:30 to check in, will people have been forming a line already and thus will we be unable to get a table once they let folks in?

EDIT: Point is we have two older and two much younger members of our group of eight. We'll need somewhere to be able to set down drinks. :)

Even though it says it starts at 8:30 we found they started letting us in for the dessert party shortly after 8. And there is no checking in at that point...you just walk in with your lanyard on and they look at that as you are entering. We were a party of 8 and got two tables next to each other.

So you are correct in assuming that there will be a lot of people all ready either in the party at 8:30 or if for some reason they haven't let people in yet there will be a long line.

Liz, thanks! We'll show up just before eight to make sure. :)

Here is a very blurry picture. We are seated at a picnic table right by Echo Lake. I was taking a picture of the package queue. My phone says the picture was taken at Sunday, ‎July ‎06, ‎2014, ‏‎8:15:21 PM. You'll also notice that the queue forms on the opposite side of the podium from the parade part of the package. It did the same for FTF.

Could someone let me know if we have to stand in line early in the day to get tickets for the sing-along or do they have tickets throughout the day for different show times? Just wondering if we had to rush over to stand in line to get tickets when we first arrive at DHS. Thanks

They have tix throughout the day for the different show times--- when we went last week, the first show was at 12:30pm- If that time didn't work for us, we asked for tix to one of the later shows, and we were accommodated-

Only 1 person from your party needs to be present to pick up tickets to the show

I was able to get tickets for our party of 4 for any time we wanted

:)
