Has anyone been able to book the premium package lately between 8/21 and 8/25? I was vacillating about booking it and when I called tonight nothing was available, the CM told me she hasn't been able to find any dates open lately. She also told me that I could book it on-line at 6 AM which I discovered was wrong when I checked the WDW website after I hung up. I'm thinking that calling at 7 AM every day will be my best bet to snag a reservation.

Forgive me if I didn't read deep enough to find out enough of what this is... but can someone explain? Pretty please with pixie dust on top? Aurasma opportunities?? I'm lost??

The Aurasma app is a free app you install on your smartphone or tablet. At the designated locations, take a photo using the app and the characters magically appear in the shot. It's like having your very own Magic Shot technology on your mobile device.

It's quite fun. You pose and then "they" appear and you snap the shot. Trolls, Sven, and Olaf are the characters that appear in the shots. There are CMs at every Aurasma photo OP and they will assist you in standing in the correct spot and snapping the photo.

So cool! I downloaded the app but it made no sense to me as i looked at it! LOL! I'm so happy you said there are CMs there to help!

try calling in the evening around 9pm EST since people have to cancel within 24 Hours. Many people assume it's 48 hours because of the pre-pay. I was able to get a reservation for last night just after 9 pm on Saturday night.

Thanks I'll have to try that if I don't have any luck before we leave. I just called at 7 AM and the CM says it is sold out. I said I know I'm looking for any cancellations, she asked me what dates and a minute later said NO there is nothing available. I don't even think she looked, last night a CM spent maybe 15 minutes on the phone with me looking so I don't see how she could have checked 4 dates in that short amount of time. She did say you need to call back closer to your dates for cancellations you won't get any now.

Yes. We did these yesterday thanks to Yullilin's heads-up and a cm with ton of patience helping me "get" it.

Here is a tutorial for those technologically challenged like me. Please note if you have an Android like me, you need a ton of patience. Yesterday almost everyone with and Android was having issues with the app.

1. Download the app
2. Aim your phone at the scene. A certain part of the scene triggers the app.
3. Once the app is "triggered", you'll see a purple swirl. Wait for that to go away.
4. Next you'll see a blue box within the picture. Tap the blue box.
5. Take the picture once the character(s) get in place.
6. A new pop up will show up on the screen, click save.

Many people are reporting not being able to make a reservation because dates are all booked.

I think it also depends on party size. I called back 4 times on Saturday. Two of the 4 times I could book for 2 people but not 3, but not for dates I wanted. The 4th time I called I was able to get it for a party of 3 for the date I wanted.

I spoke to the cm who was able to book it for us on Saturday. She said it's been hit or miss lately.

My husband spoke with someone in concierge this weekend. That cm said that she didn't see any memos saying any dates were sold out yet.

Great pics....the funny thing about the pictures from the App is that, if you are not there to witness it you miss the whole point. It looks like Sven and the Trolls are just there all the time but in reality it's an empty space and when you use the app they walk up and pose.

I have been calling every day since last Wednesday to try to get the package for my and DS for Saturday...6 days later and still not successful! Today they told me that there was a notification that went out to the CM's that most dates will fully sold out.I know that we could just go and do the Frozen event, but I was really hoping to make this a "special day" for us!

For those of you that have been able to book the package lately...are you calling at a particular time? I am wondering if the cancellations return into the system "real time" or if there is a set download time.
