**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

On another Thread, it's been reported a Limited Edition "In Summer" Olaf MagicBand (5,000 only) was released today! Has anyone seen it or found a photo of it?

I was planning on going today, but never made it there. Maybe tomorrow?

Yulilin3 was there today. I sent her a text asking if she can check it out if she can.

Yes

Oh cool! Do you know how much it is and it it makes sounds at FP+ scanners?

We will be at HS on Sept 1st and would like to be involved in some of the Frozen Summer Fun activities. Not sure how the skating works ( ie: you get a time to come back- can it be much later in the day, etc?), but would this work:

You'll find info about the skating in the 1st post of the thread. You can sign up for the first available skate or sign up for later. Just keep in mind that signing releases and lacing up may be included as part of your 30 minutes. So if you want a full 30 minute skate you need to be laced up and releases signed BEFORE the ice opens up for guest skating.

8:55 RNR
9:20 ToT (9-10 FP+)
9:45-10:30 Oaken's trading post activities- I read skating is on the 30's (not sure my group will want to skate as none have iceskated before and kids are 4 and 8). We couldn't skate if we did this - but possibly pull a time if they allowed that for late in the day to come back and skate? Do they do that? How late is it open ?) Also 1 adult grab 2:30 Singalong tickets while in area
10:35 ToyStory (10:20-11:20 fp+)
Walk over toward American Idol the back way for 11 am parade and viewing near idol stage area

Certain walking areas get roped off both before and during the parade. So make sure you don't get stuck behind a rope.

My suggestion would be to get to your spot by 10:50.

11:20 Star Tours(fp+11:25-12:25)get 4th fp for gmr after lunch
11:30 res for 50's Prime Time- arrive a little late ( or go to lunch at 11:30 and then get to star tours by 12:40 w/ 15 min window)

This sounds like you are really cutting it close.

12:30-1 Ride GMR or maybe Muppets if time
1:20 Lights, Motor, Action
2:30 Singalong

Some singalong shows, the doors close 10 minutes before show time.

Break at Boardwalk room from 2-8 ( cut break short if we can go back for a late ice skating time??? maybe go back at 7, try ice skating at 7:30?)

Last session is 7:30 and it closes promptly at 8pm

8:30 Hang out for dancing and fireworks and 9:15 fireworks ( best place to show up and try and get a good spot at this time?)
If we are still able- Fantasmic at 10.
Phew...tired, but excited thinking about it!

Thanks for any advice on what might fit better/work more easily with the Frozen activities! I'm not sure what to expect with the ice skating. This is a complete surprise trip or I'd just ask them- ie: not telling the kids till we pick them up from school to leave. It will be a good girl friend of mine and her 8 year old daughter ( first time to Disney!) plus my family!!!! So excited.

The fireworks include both a stage show and fireworks. So you'll either want to make sure you can see the sky and the stage, or one of the large screens and the sky.

On an EMH morning in Hollywood Studios, do they start handing out Singalong tickets at 8am?

I was wondering this too.. I'm hoping not as we're not planning to get to the park until around 11am and would ideally need tickets for the 2.30 show

We were just there, and our daughter's did ice skating in Wandering Oaken's Trading Post (skate time was 1:30pm). They skated for 30 minutes, for $10 each! That's quite a deal for Disney I felt :rotfl: My girls had a great time

I know others have asked this before. I don't remember ever seeing an answer. Hopefully, someone else can answer this.

Great to hear they had fun skating.

thanks for the response! one thing i can't figure from the first post with all the info is the question about how the skate times are handed out...ie: can i ask for a specific skate time even if it's later in the day like the singalong or is it the next available slot that you get ( and how far out is that?)

I think someone reported back they chose a later time. I'm going tomorrow to check out the Olaf band. I'll try to remember to ask about the skating if we make it over to the funland.

Someone did report back that they chose their time and were given a wristband to indicate they could enter for their session later in the day.

Thanks. I was pretty sure.

Ethan has just reported that when tapped at the tapstile, Olaf sings "In Summer!"

Cool! My son is glad he didn't buy the other Olaf one he wanted.

Did you catch a price?

I wanted to let you know that the Anna and Elsa cupcakes for sale at Oaken's were safe for my peanut allergic daughter. She was soooo happy!! :cool1: (Olaf is not safe.)
