I'm wondering if there is any height/age minimum for the ice skating. My DS is 2 so Im not sure about him ice skating but I know my DD (5) would absolutely love this; especially living in Florida her whole life. Also what has the wait time been for the ice skating?

We got there at 8:20am so I can't comment on normal wait times. The smallest skate they had was a 10 I want to say. No age requirement. Also no loose articles on the ice. They had open cubbies for your items (at your own risk obviously)

Wow just looked at the video and lots of great souvenirs and great drinks and snacks ... Disney gonna make a ton of money on all that merchandise. Loved the kids playing in the snow with sand pails and giggling so adorable! Thanks again for the link : )

Question - if you and your family check in for the premium package early - like 9:45 - can you come back for the 10:30 am start or do you have to then stay in the ropes?

You can come and go as you please, but you'll probably want to pick a spot for the parade and at least keep one person from your party there.

Just FYI - the merchandise area at Soundstage One is posted to be open until park close (10 PM tonight). However, unlike Star Wars Weekends, they also have closed Soundstage One prior to park closing due to the fireworks.

It's very frustrating since Soundstage One did remain open until park close.

My family and I are super excited about this for our trip but we'll keep in mind that with the development time frame for this it can't possibly rival Wishes or Illuminations... that being said, looking forward to all of your firsthand accounts!
