We have moved our trip up by 1 week, so we will be there the 6th through the 8th. Looked at the park calendar and noticed that most of our passes are blocked out on the 14th & 15th!

Yep...probably because of President's day. It's a busy weekend in the parks.

thanks for your replies! Will you then stay and view the show from your seat at the River Belle Terrace, I read that as an option, not sure if it is a good one. Also, we will be there on a Thursday which is showing that F! plays at 7:30pm, what time would you reserve dinner for in order to see that show?

No, we won't stay there. That'd be a long evening. The seating opens up 45 minutes prior to show time. So you eat dinner at whatever time your reservation is. Then you leave, go do whatever you want, then come back to the special seating area no more than 45 minutes prior to show time.

So...the water at California Adventure will be drained while World of Color is down, right? We were there one other time it was drained. Unfortunately, it's pretty ugly.

I'm so with you on this one. But have decided at least I will be with my family. Weird thought. I saw an updated list of closures no mention of the Castle? Might be in luck. I would link to the post but it won't let me!

This Disney calendar doesn't show it closed in February

35 days for us! Looking so forward to our trip!

Spent some time last night and booked our dining reservations. We are doing Minnie and Friends for my son's 12th birthday breakfast, Big Thunder Ranch BBQ for his birthday dinner, Storytellers for our off park day breakfast and the BB for "date night", while the kids grab dinner elsewhere. Can't wait for all of them!

For those of you in Canada that haven't booked anything yet, Flight Centre will be having a special in January when you book flights and 3 day hotel stay through them for DL. You get 3 day and up park hoppers for the price of the single park tickets.

Found out today because their site went live with it with no terms, such as having to book a vacation through them, which I found out afterwards. Called them and the girl had no idea and suggested I go into a local Flight Centre, which I did. The girl there had no clue and ended up calling and then emailing the marketing group, who told her it was on the site in error and doesn't actually start until January 1st. She first said I could book it and to email her on the 1st and she would get everything all completed for me. Then marketing emailed her the specifics, which stated I had to book a vacation to be eligible. Needless to say, I was not impressed. I told her you can't put something online and not honor it. She spoke to her manager and said there was nothing she can do. So frustrating!

Anyways, if you ARE going to book a package through them, then it will be a good deal. It expires January 31st.

Was bad enough after those first two planes earlier this yr, least that was months before my trip, I was able to calm down a bit, now this one has flared it all back up again.

I don't have nearly as far to fly as you, but I completely understand & I will have my usual (dramamine dosessss-LOL) on board. I will keep my focus on California & the beauty & fun that awaits.

I will be posting on FB and Instagram, I always do lol I go by the same name on Instagram as I have on here, if you want to add me or follow me or whatever you call it. I only use Instagram for vacation stuff because I like their picture filters, so I don't know a whole lot about it lol

I have actually only had a smart phone for the past year so I didn't join Instagram until then. But I am pretty much obsessed. I post a million photos of my son every day...haha. I definitely plan to send photos during our trip. If anyone wants my user name they can PM me.

I am on Twitter too but I don't think I'll send as much there. I mostly just go there to complain about stuff.
