I'm sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel better I've had to test out the sick bag in front of me too before. I'm a closet scaredicat, no one knows (excepts my husband).
He still laughs to this day...because we hadn't flown in quite a while (3+ years) and how quickly he even he forgot (because I don't really talk about it)...both my kids started having trouble during a bumby takeoff/landing with their ears etc and he leaned over and said "Honey is their something you can do for them?!"

Only to realize my eyes where closed and I was sweating profusely and gripping my chair, unable to help anyone.
He loving jokes that "his girls" (me and our DD's)are high maintenience to fly with...seems they have trouble too w/ take off/landing as me (they mostly get nausea from turblulence....Which I think is weird, since Honest to God I never talk about it). For me its a combination thing...I've always have gotten motion sickness, definietely have clautrophobia, and then there is the flying thing and Turbulence-LOL. For me a little bit of dramamine (3 tabs-LOL) goes a long way, I'm cool as cumcumber.
Your definietly not alone, some of us just hide it more.

But I'm sure you won't be the only one. Just remember everyone has fears, its No big deal, stay possitive and think of the Prize
