I was just at my second most frequented site, televisionwithoutpity and over there they are saying that Edie's hubby is McClosky's not so dead son.

Makes sense because Mrs. McClosky had a bigger presence last night.

Time will tell.

I thought of Mrs. McClosky right away too because of the intro at the party - it had a creepiness about it, as does he.

The whole idea of the storyline of the woman speeding away from her abusive husband....didn't the narrarator say she was taking her daughter out for ice cream?

Another thing that surprised me--I thought Carlos would have miraculously gotten his sight back (had some operation in the last 5 years)

I was surprised that he didn't have his sight back either. Maybe during this season he will.

Oh yeah, that's good too. That is one thing I love about this show - it keeps us guessing.

.... but that the mom ran the stop sign because she was speeding to get away from her husband, who may have been abusing her or her child.

You are right...she was (happily) taking her daughter out for ice cream. They showed her driving along and the stop sign laying on the ground in the bushes/weeds.... It was knocked over and she didn't see it. (altho, if I am coming up on a 'familiar' intersection, I would (know to) stop)

and it was the suv that rolled over not her car. Mike was thrown from it but survived and she and her child didn't. The accident scene was a little off to me.

Maybe the Scavo kids took down the stop sign? I know there are some kids who take down the stop signs in our area occasionally "for fun." fortunately, anyone that drives should have the common sense to stop there, as it is a side road "T" to a main road.

Yep, though Edie's husband may have become bitter as a result of the accident, hence needing anger management.

BUT... if he's Mrs. McClosky's undead son, wouldn't she recognize him? Even if she hadn't seen him in many years, wouldn't she see a glimpse of something about him that would be familiar? And then wouldn't she shudder that he was linked up with Edie? :lmao:

You know what kills me in TV shows......Mike and Susan are going out to an anniversary dinner. So that means its probably around 8:00ish, when was the last time that you took your toddler out for ice cream at that hour.

I know there are exceptions, but come on now...

Actually, thats when we almost always go out for ice cream :confused3 I did not have to get up in the AM & neither did they so we would eat dinner and then go out a little later for ice cream once in awhile. If it was 10 at night I could see but 8ish isn't too late IMO to bring a kid out for a treat.

I completely agree. That's the time that my Mom usually runs into my sister at the ice cream shop. My sister has her 20 month old and her 4yo with her.

It'd be way too early for my kids, as their bedtime is at 8 (and they need it!), BUT a friend of mine's oldest daughter is a notoriously bad sleeper, so they could certainly go out at 8. Depends on the family, I guess.

Another thing I was thinking about the show last night - the whole thing with Bree and Catherine reminded me of Martha Steward, even down to how Martha would do her shows talking about the ideas as if they were all entirely her own when you know she had a staff that came up with many of them. That's actually why my DM despises Martha so much. Anyway, I thought it was funny to see that played out in Bree.

I watched this again tonight with my DH. How do you figure that it was 8:00. The only thing that would indicate that it was night was that it was dark. When DH and I go out to dinner, we usually make reservations for 7:00. We don't know what time it was because we don't know what season it was. It could be 5:30 for all we know.

maybe she really wanted the icecream but used the kid as a decoy:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I love this show!!!!!!!!!!!

WT? I also DVR'd Brothers and Sisters, but that came out in English, so I know that it wasn't the television setting. Uggh! I know that i can watch it online, but how the heck can I change the spanish to english on my dvr recording?

You can watch both for free on abc.com through your computer.

Like Susan just found her 1st gray hair. Give me a break! Her daughter is in college and it's her 1st gray.

Lynette's hair is driving me nuts. It looks like she is wearing a wig.

I've been thinking that too! When I saw this thread bumped up, I was going to post the same thing!

What is with that hair? Last season it looked wiggish too, but I figured it was supposed to with her chemo. What is the excuse now?
