Changed hotels today!! When I booked POFQ wasn't available and when I noticed it online, I hurried and made the call to Disney!! Yay beignets!

prmamidedos - 12/11 - 12/18 - Port Orleans French Quarter (oh yeah!!!)

Oh! I have a PTR too! You can find it here!!! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2523021

Just noticed this is a double-post. Sooorrrryyy. Blame it on me being excited!!!

I saw this thread and I knew I had to post! As you can tell by the lack of a ticker, I had to cancel the plans for our 2010 Halloween cruise.:confused3 My husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on Halloween and wanted to do something big. Unfortunately, I've been out of work for the last year and a half, so the budget has been a little tight. Certainly tight enough not to support a 7 day cruise!

So now, We had some extra money come in and I will (fingers crossed) be getting a part time job in the next few weeks. If we live on peanut butter sandwiches for the next three months (only kidding :rolleyes1) I think I can manage a 5 day trip to the parks!:cool1:

We will be staying at the Coronado Springs in December and I'm hoping to get in on the free dining plan. It's my first time using the dining plan and I'm a bit nervous, but then again, how hard can it be, right?

We are having two friends join us for part of the trip. They are just as excited as we are. Neither one has been to the parks since they were young and a lot has changed since their last visit.

All I know is I am long over due for a vacation and my honey is as well. I am so looking forward to all the planning, prepping and packing! The 2 year withdrawals have been quite painful and I need my Disney fix!:woohoo:

Now I just have to go find a new ticker!:thumbsup2

So excited for the trip I decided to see if we could add another day. Well we were able to:banana:. DS(9) 1st time to WDW so I wanna make it fun for him. Luckily we were able to get some good ADR's or at least in my opinion good.

12/7 Kona 750, Mama Melrose's 405, 7pm MVMCP

This is a Mom/Daughter trip. It has been a rough year for us. My dad passed away in May, I had unexpected surgery 10 days later and then 3 weeks after that I ended up in the hospital with sepsis and several other infections and nearly died. Mom has not been able to take a trip in several years because of my dad. So . . .

We will be spending 10 days at Caribbean Beach resort. We will celebrate mom's 71st birthday and we are doing all the Christmas things :santa:. MVMCCP, Candlelight Processional dinner, DxDP with all her favorites and a bunch of new ones.

My mom is like a little girl. She wants to eat in the castle princess:, see all the characters and ride ToT and Mt. Everest .

It has been 8 years since her last trip to the world, so we are doing it up big time!

Hello everyone :wave2:

I'm so excited to join the December thread.

For this trip I will be treating my parents and my siblings as part of my mom's 50th birthday present. My parents have never been to Disney for the christmas decor. We will be spending 3 nights in a Fort Wilderness Cabin, because my mom has always wanted to stay at the campsite, and 3 nights in a 2 bedroom villa at BVC, because I don't think I could spend anymore time sharing a bunkbed with my 21 year old brother. :rotfl2:

We are leaving on December 30th so we can spend New Years Eve at Downtown Disney! And then we stay for 7 more days! How are the crowds on the first week of January?
We are staying at the All Star Sports.
I wanted the Movies, but oh well haha.
I've only been to Pop Century before, and I loved it. Are the All Stars very different to Pop?
After that we'll stay another week at a hotel in Orlando so we can visit WWOHP :D

Tomorrow is my 100 day!!!!! :dance3:

I'm still thinking of making a paper chain tonight. Did you guys do any kind of countdown from 100? :confused3

We typically book 60 days or so out, so our chains have always started around then.

This is the furthest away we booked, so I don't know what to do. We hit our 100 day mark this weekend and that might be a good time to go and get the supplies. I figure any Disney magic we can squeeze into each day, we're all the better for it.

we have 14 weeks to go until our trip now, so I'm buying one or two toiletries (shampoo, showergel, toothpaste etc) to pack each week when I do our supermarket shop! It's spreading the cost, and I get a little pre-Disney excitement each week! :wizard:
