They finished filming almost 3 months ago. DWTS won't start until the week after The Bachelor's live After the Rose show. Plenty of time for them to rehearse if they wanted. That is how the last Bachelor, Chris, did it. Sean, too, I think...

Same here...I remember it so well. They actually won it on my birthday, and I was a gymnast at the time. My little 5 year old self thought it met I was next lol

I was 16 and remember those Olympics and that team well also. Scary sometimes how quickly time flies by!

Yes, that is how they did it last season. They didn't announce Chris until after the finale aired. Then, he still/only had 3 weeks to rehearse to catch up with everyone else. Although, we don't know if they were secretly in hiding somewhere else, since, as pointed out, he didn't really finish the show the week before DWTS started.

Chris & Derek were the last two official announcements, IIRC. So we had 13 stars to start with. They also probably did that as someone seems to always get an injury nowadays and has to drop out. So they have an extra star. And they can do a double elimination later in the season, if they have to.

Yep. She was wiping tears away as they read the verdict. It was about a 6 hour deliberation almost I believe

GMA interviewed one of the jurors. That person said they weren't even deliberating IF they would award any money all that time, but how much. They said they wanted to send a clear message to hotels that they are responsible for our safety & privacy.

GMA is going to do the "official" announcement in a few minutes.

I need to go there for the announcements one of these seasons. They have ALL the pro dancers & ensemble dancing outside, on the sidewalk, in front of the GMA studio. So I could have watched them all for free. And the weather isn't too cold today. Maybe, I'll do that for the fall season.

Val was dancing with his soon-to-be-sister-in-law, Peta.

I am so excited about Von Miller. He is a hoot and I'm sure he will be great with Whitney. I'm also excited for Jodie Sweetin and like the fact that Keo got someone with some dance experience. I'm excited to see what he can do. Can do without Geraldo and I've never liked Edyta so meh to them. I like the fact that I have heard of 7 of the stars (8 if you count Wayna since I know Boys II Men just not their names) and only don't know 4 of them.

Wish she had got someone better then Keo

I haven't been a fan of Keo's. He seems to dance flat footed sometimes but then it could be the shoes he wears. Maybe dancing with Jodi will change my mind.

I'm a fan of Edyta and glad to see her back dancing again. Not a fan of Geraldo though.

Right now I'm rooting for Jodi and Kim Fields since they are basically the only ones I really know. ha ha

My coworker will be very happy that Edyta is on again. He's a big fan of hers.
