I wasn't able to watch this week's episode until last night.
Now that I know Tamar was cautioned not to leave the hospital, I'm wondering if Val, Sharna, & Nick knew she had blood clots in her lungs at the time they were dancing. They were just acting hyper-concerned - way beyond "she has pneumonia". I mean, I know pneumonia is serious, but, to me, they looked downright scared. When they were sitting on the bench, Nick looked like he was ready to cry, & no one was focused at all on what Tom was saying. I don't know, it just struck me at the time, instead of looking relieved & happy that she was out of the hospital & able to dance, they looked stressed & scared. I know I'm rambling. Just, when I was watching, to me it looked as if they were more than just worried/concerned &, now that I know how sick she truly was (& is), it makes more sense.
I think Tamar probably wouldn't have come back except it was a team dance & she didn't want to let Nick down and felt like if she didn't come back to dance the team dance, the score would have reflected her not being there which could have adversely affected Nick's overall score. I haven't much liked her this season, but I think a lot of it was due to how she was being edited. My thoughts & prayers are with her, & she has my respect & admiration for what she did Monday night - even though she probably shouldn't have come back to dance! A dance is not worth one's life.
Other than that, I was sad to see Alexa go. I would rather have seen Carlos go before Alexa. There's something about Carlos I don't like. Someone up thread said he appears disingenuous, & that's exactly right! That's the way I feel about him too.
I still like Alek, Nick, & Bindi.
