I spoke with Pam at bc private dining this morning and ordered a 10 inch chocolate cake with rasberry mousse filling and white buttercream icing. I asked it to be decorated with lavendar writing and flowers for my DD12th bday on 7/17. I also requested it have some tiny mickey heads in icing on the sides. Here's hoping it all goes well She did say that someone would have to be in the room to receive it. I'll post a pic after I get back.

Hi, what was the price that they gave you?? I called BC private dining this morning also(after having read MANY other posts on this thread) and was told $45.for the 10 inch cake and $30. for any image(I wanted Lilo or Stitch) So I was wondering are they charging you for the FLOWERS?? I also called the BW Bakery and they quoted me the same $45. for the cake and $10. for any image. If I wanted Lilo AND Stitch it would be $10, each. Also at the BCV for my DD's 25th Birthday on 7/18!! Thanks, Joan

No charge for the flowers cake price is 45.00, Pam put me on hold to double check and even called me back when she had confirmed it with someone at the bakery. Can't wait to get to the BCV, it is my Happy Place!

So almost two weeks ago I left a message for Pat at the GF. I waited a couple of days and then called back and left another message. Since I hadn't heard back from her and I am leaving tomorrow, I decided to call every 15mins today until I talked to someone. Well, I got her on the second attempt

I asked for a small 2-tier square cake made to look like a birthday cake with Woody and Bullseye on top....I was quoted $400 . I said well it doesn't have to be elaborate just something unique. She said anything with fondant is $400 and up.

Holy cow! I told them forget about it. Now I know I have seen something like this in the cake thread (minus woody and bullseye) but I dont remember it costing $400 in fact I think it was under $100. And she was sooooo rude on the phone. Really short and didn't want to really answer my questions. Just told me to email her. Definitely not a good experience at all.

So I have nixed the cake idea. Although it will be DH's 30th, he can do without as I really don't want to try and get ahold of Pat again nor do I really want to actually speak to her.

Good luck to those who are ordering and Congrats to those who got what they wanted ( I know some of the cakes I have seen on here were simply gorgeous!!) Maybe next time for me

I am completely confused.... HELP! LOL

I am wanting to order a "Mad Hatter" type cake in the colors of Tigger, with a Tigger theme for my SIL 22nd Bday. I would like to have it sent to the room. But I am lost as to how to get it there. And if not, I would like to have it sent to Le Cellier for her Dinner. Can I order it either way on the cake Hotline?

And I have seen the info for the Boardwalk Bakery (flavors, etc... ) but what about the GF bakery?

I am so totally lost, can someone please help me out!

Gee, with all of the trouble, how far in advance do I need to order a cake? I am really needing two. One is for our wedding anniversary and one is for my mom's b'day. We are 9 weeks away, should I call about 5 weeks out or when? I don't want to miss out.

we are staying at OKW 10-8 thru 10-11 for my DS's 9th bday. Does OKW have a dining reservation that i can call to order a cake for him?

Also, which bakery or rest. did the mickey star wars one that is on the cake pic thread. My DS really likes that one so i would like to try that.

Gonna try for a Chef mickey's ADR for his actual Bday but cant try until the 10th of this month.

Any help is appreciated!!

This is amazing. We're staying at OKW from 10/1-11th for DS's 22nd bday on Oct 4th. I'm looking to order the mickey star wars cake for him (and see if they can change out the outfit and light sabre for a pirates theme - "mickey sparrow" with a sword...)

I remember reading that the star wars cake was ordered through Beach Club private dining. I doubt OKW has private dining (tho' I might be wrong). So, I'm ordering the cake from GF private dining for our dinner at Narcoossee the night before his bday. I've promised not to embarrass him on his actual birthday but he didn't say anything about the day before..

Good luck getting your ADR for CM - maybe we'll run into you at OKW!

That is such a coincidence that we both will be there around the same time and at OKW. It will be our first time there as new DVC'ers. Trying to make DS's birthday special with the Disney magic! I will try OKW and where ever i can after i get the official ressie in place!! So excited.

For the special cake I had to go through the GF Bakery not the restaurant. They will give you whatever you want!
