OK, so I'm doing my FP's on Friday. Not as excited as some people get lol, as I used the new system in Feb. and while it wasn't horrible, I'm not a fan and I do miss legacy FP
Now in Feb. you couldn't get more than 3 so the question of booking your initial FP's early to get a 4th, 5th, etc. later wasn't an issue. My question now is, what have you guys done/do you plan on doing? Scheduling them early in hopes that good ones are still available later? Or planning on RD to ride SB, and scheduling your initial 3 FP's for later? Hopping and scheduling FP's for 2nd park? I've read the threads touting the pros and cons of all the different ways, just curious what you all are doing
I did a combination of times. We don't park hop.
Arrival day: Plane lands at 9:30, so hoping to be at MK by lunch time. First FP starts at 11:30 and last one is for the FoF around 3:00.
Epcot day: Starting at 9:30. We want to try to get to Soarin at RD. Then maybe the Land or Nemo and then start with FPs. We have TT, SE, and Figment (just to use one up!). Then hoping we might be able to repeat.
Full MK day: We didn't start them until around 10:00. Figuring we could do a few rides standby at RD and then hit the FPs.
Animal Kingdom day: Start with safari right at 9:10, followed by EE and Kali. Again, hoping for repeats!
HS: We're going to the villains party, so scheduled TSMM from 6:00 to 7:00, just booked two throwaway ones for earlier in the day (again, because we had to!). We're only going for the party not the whole day.
Another MK day: This will be the day after the party, so not expecting to make rope drop! Started first FP at 10-11.
Last day will be HS again, but we'll need to get up, pack, check our luggage, etc. So again started at 10:00. If we get there earlier, we'll try for a standby first.
I have absolutely no idea if any of this will work to our advantage, but it is what it is at this point!
