I know!!! When I saw that flyer on my pillow I got SOOOO excited!!!!! THEN. I saw the date....bummer. We do hope to go back this August - we'll see.

Seems like we were at POR the same week - how'd you like it? Will you stay there next time? It was ok to us, though we hope to try something different next time but still onsite. If we get free-dining it will work, otherwise it's off-site for us.

Here's keeping our fingers crossed for us all!

I have to say, the cast members at POR were all wonderful, the food was fine, the pools great, we didn't have any complaints. However, the theming just wasn't really our style. As a group, we actually prefer the All-Stars. (I guess there's something wrong with us.) I have also stayed in 2 Deluxes (Boardwalk and Beach Club and loved them.) We would love to stay at the Poly some day. I wouldn't object to staying at POR again, but it wouldn't be my 1st choice.

Well congrats to her. We just booked our trip last night and would love to get that code in the mail our dates are 8/3-8/9. I'm very satisfied with the price we paid but we are flying this time and would love to save on something!!! Keeping fingers crossed!!!

once a discount code is found (announced online or get one by mail or whatever), can you apply it to an already made reservation? Or is it only on "new" reservations? Thinking of booking, but haven't done it yet...this could help me decide whether or not to book now or hold off a bit.

You can apply it to your existing ressie, but one thing to remember that particular Resort may be booked up, therefore forcing you to choose another resort that has rooms with the discount available. I had my discount code applied to our last trip and didn't have to change anything and actually saved $395. I hope this helps you.

We just booked our trip last night too, for 8/3-8/9 at CSR! It's our first trip as a family, haven't been since I was a kid, and I'm so excited.

Our dates are Aug. 1-17. We have a 30% Bounce Back for Aug. 10-17, but I would LOVE to have a 40% discount for Aug. 3-17! I called WDW and they checked for me, but OF COURSE there is nothing. I have AAA for Aug. 1-10, but the discount is nowhere near 40%.

We will be watching for a discount for Aug. 10-17 also. We are staying at the BCV on the 17th, but looking to say at a value for the first week. We are AP holders (5 of us), so have that, but hoping for a better discount too. I checked into the BBP while in WDW in October, but was quoted $65 a night for a value, and thought I could do better than that so passed. We head back in 3 weeks and it would be great if there was a new BBP, but will probably be the same one I was offered in October. I'll be watching.

Last year, I saved $677.03 (8 night stay) MYW + Dining at a GV POLY from 8/17 - 8/25 ($84.63 per night savings).

We didn't add the dining plan this year. We seemed to worry about eating too much and with the changes in the plan I crunched some numbers and guess-timated that there would not be much of a difference in costs from paying out of pocket.

I called my AAA travel agent as the discount was greater than the AAA one~she called Disney and got the new code and nixed the AAA discount... it saved me another $120 on the pkg (so $520 altogether) Hoping for something similar this year!!!!

Thanks for your reply! We definitely don't need a package, so hopefully there will be some kind of room only as well as a package code.
We're trying BC for the first time - maybe we'll see you there!
