My sister is at Disney now and she just tried to book the bounceback offer for August 23rd-29th and was told there was no availability at any Deluxe for those dates. Bummer!

I need some pixie dust We are leaving in 13 days.......Hoping to god the bounceback is still going on.............Praying to be able to get a reservation the 10-17th of august at the Wilderness lodge. It will be our first deluxe stay.

I just wanted to update everyone....My sister called back tonight to try and book the bounceback offer for August 23rd-29th again and after being on the phone for about an hour with a very helpful CM ,We got the Poly for those dates for a total or 267.50 per night and thats including tax! The CM said something about changing codes today so something was screwed up somewhere(???) He also said there appeared to be availability at most of the Deluxes and we could have our choice of which one we wanted now that he had the right code! So have hope, There is still availabilty out there..Good Luck!

Yes, it is the bounceback rate, she is at Pop Century right now and tried to book it this morning and was told nothing was available and tried again tonight and got what we wanted.

We're really hoping for some good rates...even at the Swan and Dolphin. Hoping to go with my DM(58), DD(8), DB(22) and DSI(21). We need codes to make this trip happen...it will be a budget trip

Just booked Aug 30th - Sept 6th at Wilderness Lodge. Will be the first time staying there, and only second time staying on site. Do I get to post on August and Sept threads now?!

Right now we are booked for December 08 but we both work for the school district here so August seems like a better time for us, vacation-wise. I am hoping for free dining because it would save us a lot of money! I will take anything, though!

Someone who knows better than I may be able to help you but I know that Disney did a reservation for free-dining for '08 this year in August through September. I don't know the exact dates but it is usually around the 20th or so of August through September. Check out the Dining topic.

Thanks! I am hoping that even if they don't offer free dining to the general public again this year that I can get some sort of discount code. If not, we will just stick with going in December.

I am so frustrated! We were at Pop the week after Thanksgiving. My DH and I both asked at Pop several times as well as several of the other resorts about bounce back. The CMs either acted like they did not know what we were talking about or told us that bounce back ended! After a CM at GF told us very confidently that it was over, we gave up checking. We were thinking of trying the end of August this year so it would have been perfect. I hope some other deals come out.

Nobody can say for sure if they will announce free dining but the last two years they announced it the beginning of April to the general public. Last year it was limited availability. In 05 it was announced in May if I remember correctly. Last year they had bounce back for free dining available to people who stayed at Disney in December and this year they had the bounceback free dining available for people staying anytime in August to sometime in October. Last year lots of people predicted that free dining would be sold out and not made available to the general public but that was wrong so nobody can say for sure. Just don't give up hope but have an alternate plan just in case.
