***Official April 2025 Thread***

@theresemiller2000 have you booked any ADR yet?

@Disturbia, @Jimmy Mouse and @kitkat4622 your window opens tomorrow, right?
Yes it opened and I had to split our party to book Topolinos breakfast on check out (lunch time) but 1900 park fare had plenty of availability.

Enchanting extras opened at midnight: Tron Identity program was completely booked (will postpone to Nov) and Bibbidi Bobbidi had late availability (1:35 pm) so will probably end up cancelling.

It looks like Blizzard Beach will be open 4/5? I can reserve a Polar Patio for $400!
I didn’t book it. We probably won’t be at the waterpark for long and probably won’t even enter until after lunch (post cruise). Plus we have access to water parks 3 hrs away at home.

How is everyone doing with their ADR? Are you booking any tours or experiences?

Are your reservations dictating which parks you'll go to on certain days or did you have your park schedule set before you made your reservations?

I set my park days first then fit my dining reservations in. I have already booked what I can on Open Table and then will wait to make the rest at 60 days out. Here's what I have on Open Table: Frontera Cocina, Amare, Columbia (in Celebration), and Il Mulino. I've also booked Mythos & Toothsome through Universal. We're staying for four weeks so there's going to be quite a few ADRs through MDE also. We're offsite for all but one week so I'm going to have to do it mostly 60 days out each day. No tours this time but I highly recommend the Sunset Safari.

I got all the ADRs I wanted except for Space 220 Lounge so I did Space 220 restaurant instead. I picked park days first.

Wow, a month! That's a long trip. Where are you coming from? Other than WDW and Universal, what else do you have planned?

We're retired so this is our escape from rainy/cool springs in Massachusetts. We plan on going to Cocoa Beach and the Kennedy Space Center, and also checking out Lake Apopka, Blue Springs, Deleon Springs, and Celebration. This is our third spring roadtrip and after experiencing pretty much all the areas in Florida (including the keys) we've just come to the realization that the Orlando area is our favorite. We bought Annual Passes and plan to hit the parks in the mornings and evenings and go other places mid-day (except for the Cocoa Beach/Kennedy Space Center days). We really enjoy Disney Springs and exploring all the resorts in addition to the parks.

I'll be there with my mother, DH, DD, DS and DS - April 20 to the 26th SSR. Wish me luck getting the kids on rides over spring break!
Out of curiosity, where are you coming from that has a spring break that late?

How is everyone doing with their dining reservations? We've got just about everything we wanted. For us, so much depends on the park hours. Right now, all of the parks are listed as closing by 9 pm which is a shorter day than we are used to.

My kids go to a catholic school so our Spring break falls right after Easter. Although in Northern VA (where we are) the public schools have spring break right before Easter, leading into Easter weekend. It's always best for me to plan a vacation of some sort for them since their friends in the neighborhood don't have off and they start to get board sitting around the house while I work.

The park hours are impacting me as well for planning. I wish they would set them with dining but I get why they do it this way. My dining doesn't open for me to make reservations until Wednesday so I guess I'll see what is available then. I do like it better than when it was 180 days out, I never planned a vacation out that long (well not to Disney) and was always really in trouble for getting good dining options. That said, extended evening hours is set so I actually have very little in the way of flex as I plan to use that to my advantage.

*** Edited to change EMH to Extended Evening Hours - I guess nothing is EMH anymore :)

Us too!! I'll be there with my DH and DS. I'm a little worried about the spring break crowds, but fingers crossed it won't be too croweded on this very last spring break week. Super excited to be staying in a Fort Wilderness cabin, and renting a golf cart. It's our first time at the Fort. 🏕️

I was able to book everything we wanted, then decided to add the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets event. It was booked, but just kept checking back periodically. My hubby does not love the fireworks crowds nor the slow walk out, a chair and snacks should make him happy! =D

We haven't been to WDW in years so don't know how much time we'll spend at each park. Because of that, we doubled up on a lot of restaurants and will just have to cancel some after we figure out lightning lanes, etc.

We have Boma, California Grill, Brown Derby, Flying Fish and Art Smith's Homecoming reserved. I have Space 220 booked for lunch & dinner on our EPCOT day and picked up a lounge reservation on a different day. The problem is, we don't have park hoppers and the lounge reservation is the day that we have a tour scheduled in a different park. I think we'll probably give up the lounge reservation and just do lunch or dinner on our EPCOT day.
